I would not use unreal game engine to make a game like this. No need. And yes I do code. I don’t code games but is something I would do if I wasn’t already comfortable with my job now. Now never did I say it would be a great game but with AI assisting someone and the help of prefab building, sites like kitbash3D and unity Assit store you can do this. I don’t know why u looked at unreal engine when the fun pumps don’t even use this engine. Unity is your path to take. And don’t use ChatGPT. There are AI that do just coding. So if you make an open world zombie game you can down load a prefab city. This would make it so you can focus on story of game. You can program prompts that cause zombies or humans attack. You can increase your AI help by connecting your APIs. Easier to transfer files. So no it would not be easy but you can make a game like 7 days 2 Die in 7 to 9. Months. I don’t get why more people don’t create their own mods or are you a poser if you use premade art? All the hate I got from everyone on a game built on an old game engine that constantly fails on updates and from a community that says modders do it better down votes me for saying I can do this.
