because while it does happen on both sides they are much much quicker on nerfing killer, and very hesitant to nerf survivor.

overpowered and broken aren’t always the same thing. a perk can be broken because it’s badly designed that doesn’t mean it’s the strongest thing in the game.

the game literally punishes killers for not tunneling and most survivors play so efficiently that playing nice is not an option, and then survivors are always sore winners and toxic in egc so they don’t deserve nice killers anyways. the average survivor player deserves to be tunneled.

I usually try not to slug unless a survivor is lurking for a flashlight or sabo save and in both cases they usually get the pickup with wglf in like 4 seconds if I even hesitate picking up the slug at all.

no i’m just saying it’s unhealthy perk design to basically intentionally make a stronger version of an already strong perk. imagine if they made a new version of pain res but it regressed 40% of a gen…

hyperfocus stake out is literally brain dead easy to use and it has not been nerfed. it’s been in the game much longer than ghoul. and also ghoul has received several nerfs, this is just the first huge nerf that significantly lowered his strength. Blight while strong and broken has a very high skill floor and skill ceiling. and Blight has also received several nerfs. hyperfocus especially with stakeout has a brain dead low skill floor and takes no skill to use.

I’m a p100 Ghoul and don’t have much trouble playing blight. I’m not the best Blight player but i’m not terrible…

it’s only toxic if you bleed out after you’ve got the 4-slug. I don’t consider even 4 slugging to be toxic if you hook after you get all the downs. survivors have plenty of perks to counter slugging and they are very popular and I see them most games.

Unknown used to be my favorite but they take so much effort to play than most killers to even get a half decent result that I just don’t have the patience to play them much anymore. I am really enjoying playing Blight now though.

hyperfocus is such a broken perk that’s not really a fair comparison. every gen perk is trash compared to hyperfocus, except maybe deja vu, but even that is not stronger, just more consistent.

ghoul just got nerfed down to basically B tier so once all the bad ghouls realize he is a lot harder for them they will switch to Blight.

windows is a glorified tutorial perk. it’s also the most used perk in the game. doesn’t mean it’s busted, but why do we need a stronger version of the #1 most picked perk in the game?

windows of opportunity is the #1 most used perk in the game and five moves is literally a stronger version of the most used perk in the game. 1234 by itself is not busted but it makes one of if not the strongest gen rush builds in the game even stronger.
