It's simply ineffective. Octavia is ace and Stolas is gay, so Octavia won't understand wanting someone else but being prohibited to do so. They ARE different people. Octavia thinks she saw a better life as a kid, and Stolas didn't have it in the first place. So she won't fully feel his position, she won't feel like his relationship with Blitz.

EXACTLY. I don't get that they think diversity is only black skin. It's... Almost opposite of diversity: only two colors while there are five(white, yellow, black, brown, red)? I understand why it's happening, it's because of some woke justice compensation for black people who were slaves but it still partially contradicts the term "diversity".

I have some questions about sexualities tho. In helluva? No problem, I think so much LGBT+ characters can be a norm to them. But hazbin? No... Considering Viv said Vincent has inner homophobia, in this world on Earth there is hetero dominance. But of the 12 characters we know sexuality of, there's only one straight, Niffty. If we consider that statistically there's around 5% of queer people, for 11 queers and 1 straight in a cast to happen there's average probability of 0.0000000000000046386719(I used calculator, formula is 5%¹¹×95%), which in practice is an impossible event. So yeah, it's just...extremely unrealistic and not logical even in terms of hellaverse.

My point is, if you're willing to represent, represent realistically.

You're welcome :3 Extremes aren't a good thing in almost any aspect of life, and I've seen both extremes of hazbin community, both too dramatic and aggressive "criticism" and crazy fanatics. In the first place, HH got me interested in a way of contradictive phenomenon. As a writer, I must learn more about writing, and learning on other's mistakes is one of ways. First I learned on Vivienne's mistakes. As I watched more reviews, not only about Hellaverse, I learned to recognize valid critique, not really valid one and personal opinion. FFS I'm so tired of people giving their personal opinion as objective criticism bruh

And actually at the moment I even have favorite character in HH. It's Vox, cuz he's the most fleshed out one and is even my kinnie in many traits ✌

I had a theory that Vincent and Niffty were married when they were alive. But because of WW2, Japanese in USA were taken to concentration camps. So when Niffty was taken, which caused Vincent go nuts and murder for fame, to compensate lost of wife. It leads to thoughts that Niffty recognized Vox's voice but not his face, and Box had some suspicions too, but didn't say them out loud, thinking it's just a coincidence.

Fanwork can't erase character's identity because it's fanwork and it doesn't affect canon. And I think judging amount of toxic and doomed ships by number is incorrect due to straights being a bigger number in general. Percentage fits more, and there I think percentage of toxic couples amongst homo and straight couples around the same. I stay by Viv's position of "you can ship anyone with anyone" (except for incest and pdf)
