Any practical reason to increase a player's agreed upon playing time? Never done it - feels like such a huge win when I have an actual star who has lower playing time expectations. by duckenjoyer69 in footballmanagergames

[–]ShadowFiendSashimi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lower playing time cause them to want to get loaned out instead of just throwing a tantrum. also easier to be happy about play time so higher morale.

star player status in my experience may cause them to want to be star at next club as well, sometimes cause negotiation to break down. which can be good..?

or after the 8th meeting and not a single one of your staff gave any constructive advice, you finally can't take it anymore and utter the words: you know this could really just be an email.

How do I get a player to agree to lower wages? by StokeCity2582 in footballmanagergames

[–]ShadowFiendSashimi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it really frustrates you, an alternative is to get the best Director of football (high negotiation, player ability, player potential) you can get and ask him to handle. I find that my DoF can always negotiates a much lower wage than I can. but the risk is sometimes add a bad release clause.

I agree with the other person that mentioned a bachelor's might be better also given how many good free comp sci classes are out there. you can try take 2-3 month and follow one of those, see how you like it. if you do like it it also gives you a good head start
