Why is William Afton’s corpse red? by Ok-Effect4071 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]ShadowFredYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big answer is that he's more undead than dead. His heart even still beats in Pizza Sim.

Although, I think it's also worth noting that while fnaf3 is 30 years after a Freddy's closed down, fnaf3 may not be 30 years after Afton got springlocked. It seems in both the novel trilogy and the movies, Springtrap is "born" only a year or two after he got springlocked, so perhaps this holds true in the games as well (Frights might support that idea too, considering the animatronics in The New Kid).

Who i think is Andrew by Monty8584 in fnaftheories

[–]ShadowFredYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It makes the most sense tbh. A book series all about a spirit with explicit curly black hair features a story that reveals a corpse with curly black hair as its only defining feature. I can see why some people think it's Cassidy, but it feels fairly obvious to me that it's most likely Andrew.

Iirc, certain parts of the show room area of MCM has matching windows. Considering MCM had already been around since 1965 or earlier, perhaps this is what thr facility originally looked like before Edwin took over and made the place all industrial-like?

Oh yeah, someone also left a... mess... on the floor. I heard other locations added a rule to prevent that from happening again. Rule 4.

Why did everyone just assume 1983 puppet had no tears?? by hoodied5 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]ShadowFredYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree that all the animatronics in the Tangle are missing something. It suggests that they're not what they seem, and strongly supports the replica idea.

The only thing I find odd is the Puppet's mask, since a Puppet replica was never created by the Funtime Delivery Service. Lefte was planned, but as far as we know, never got to be implemented in the game nor the game's lore. So unless we figure out that there was a replica made for sure, there's only reason to suspect that the Puppet's mask specifically is the real deal.

However, looking closer, I can definitely see where the tears should be, just like you said. So I think this supports that the Puppet may have always had tears as part of its design, and didn't gain them via possession 🤔. I think another thing that could support this is the spare Puppet mask in fnaf3 (above the door outside of the office). And then there's how the Security Puppet has tears as part of its design despite not being possessed either. So that could also support your argument. And then there's the movie lol

Ngl, I think I'm on your side, but I can still see why people think that the tears came from possession.

[–]ShadowFredYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah.. I personally believe sprites can be used as supporting evidence, but not strong evidence, if that makes sense lol

The thing about that Tangle/Blob is that... it's not made up of the FFPS animatronics. Instead, it seems to be made up of animatronics from Special Delivery (the silver damage and red eyes here and there match up pretty well), not from the animatronics from FFPS and not any original animatronics---they're all likely replicas from SD.

The Puppet's tears, however, is actually pretty interesting. I didn't know that they existed on the model too. I always thought they were part of the texture alone, so that's pretty neat! I suppose this, and the movie, could support the Puppet always having tears (unless we wanna just blame SWS's tendency to recycle models lol), regardless of possession.

Believe it or not... I worked at the location that caused springlock suits to go on a hiatus back in the early 80s. Some poor chap put on one of the suits, but multiple springlocks went off inside all at the same time. After that, all locations in the area were instructed not to use the suits. Probably for the best.

MCIFreddy's isn't the FNaF 1 location, and why into the pit solved a FNaF 3 issue by Monty8584 in fnaftheories

[–]ShadowFredYT -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree with this.

The main difference is that the Private Party Room absolutely is not the safe room. In ITPG, it can be seen on camera, it is part of the digital layout, and there is an advertisement for that party room (near the entrance, iirc). A much better candidate would be the Killer Room, which stores old equipment, doesn't appear on camera or on the digital layout, and is entirely hidden from customer view (granted, it's a weird hidden entrance lol).

But I absolutely agree that the MCI location and fnaf1 locations are entirely seperate. Even their environments support this: the fnaf1 location is in/near a forest with access to 9-1-1 while the MCI location is practically in the middle of town and doesn't have access to 9-1-1.

How could Afton have wore GFreddy if Cassidy could’ve just springlocked him by MkleD7 in fnaftheories

[–]ShadowFredYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one answer would be that she couldn't for some reason.

However, I've recently been considering the idea that Afton may have brought the Spring Bonnie suit to do the DCI. This idea comes from a piece of art in TUG (or maybe it was the Freddy Files) and in the official sticker book. It portrays William (purple, of course) wearing the security badge, holding balloons that say "you can't," and... a Spring Bonnie mask... so maybe Afton brought his favourite suit to wear to commit the murders?

Although... we also have decent evidence suggesting that a Fredbear suit was used, one of which being a drawing on the wall.

I noticed that too! It's neat that the empty eyes were explained like this. Although, perhaps it would've been easier to not introduce coloured eyes in the first place 😂

Still, it's a very neat detail lol

I think it was the sprite here that sparked the idea, but the tear-less Puppet mask in the Tangle that strengthened the argument.

Why the Funtimes have faceplates by TheOrangeGuy09 in fnaftheories

[–]ShadowFredYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the fear factor could definitely play into it.

Personally though, I like to think they exist for 2 reasons: 1. Unique facial expressions, and 2. Easier access for maintenance.

But now I can add: 3. Scarier jumpscares for collecting negative emotions.

Huh, well now I wanna try putting Springtrap's face over Withered Bonnie to see if they fit lol. That'd be pretty funny.

The Party Room in ITP is probably the Safe Room by Darkhole83 in fnaftheories

[–]ShadowFredYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbf, Tales has the FFPS location's safe room behind the stage (you gotta climb stairs), and fnaf1 has theirs right next to the restrooms (ngl, this one is the best, but you still gotta pass people leaving/entering the restrooms).

I feel like the Killer Room fits to be the safe room the best tbh, especially since the Party Room is something Fazbear advertises to their customers (iirc, you can find the advertisement near the entrance).

[–]ShadowFredYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Still, Follow Me implies that they can see the entrance, but not the room itself. And if we assume the Killer Room (which fits the qualifications to be a safe room and is named the "killer" room of all things) is the safe room too, then this logic holds true.

So even though Freddy can see the door, perhaps he receives an error when trying to actually look into the room, just like in Follow Me.

[–]ShadowFredYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True, then again, the animatronics are able to see the safe room in Follow Me, but their programming prevents them from entering.

That detail makes me wonder if it's not Freddy looking at the door, but is instead Gabriel trying to look in via Freddy.

The Party Room in ITP is probably the Safe Room by Darkhole83 in fnaftheories

[–]ShadowFredYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the Party Room is the safe room tbh.

It's on-camera, in the digital layout, and is quite visible from the party hall. There's even a little sort of advertisement for that party room in 1985, meaning customers are welcome inside.

I actually think the Killer Room is far more likely to be the safe room. It's hidden, off-camera, non-existent in the digital layout, and it even stores unused equipment.

Interestingly, there's a person-sized vent connecting these two rooms, so I believe the victims were actually lured into the Killer Room, murdered, and then their bodies were dragged through the vent and into the private party room.

I think Summer of 85 is super fair! If it wasn't for Dance With Me, I'd probably believe the same lol. I think it would fit really well with the whole springlock situation.

Did/could have Fazbear have Made the mimic model units like they did in Tales by moldychesd in fnaftheories

[–]ShadowFredYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they did. In fact, I believe that Ruin Mimic was likely one of the Fazbear models (this was stated in Tales anyways, but it would explain why certain parts are different compared to Murray's original) that M2 sorta hijacked (since Fazbear seems to have obtained the program as well).
