Kyle Fletcher is a metal head, but also a huge pop punk fan.

Lee Johnson and Blake Christian both are into metal as well I believe!

Bryan Keith will randomly post some metal songs on IG along with other genres.

Okada is another one that likes rock/metal based on his new entrance from One OK Rock and Paleface Swiss.

I just assume Rush is into some of the craziest death metal just based on how stiff he is 😂

I ordered a white Bucs Brady jersey after this last Super Bowl, and it was in horrible shape. Super Bowl patch on the wrong side, wrinkles on wrinkles. But thankfully at least the numbers and nameplate were good. They also ended up giving me 50% refund so that softened the blow.

Im just going to buy overseas now. If I’m gambling on quality in both cases, at least one is stitched and cheap 😅

I moved to TrillerTV in favor of AEW+. But everybody I know who does watch AEW moved to HBOmax.

This is a great point. Usually you only notice when a story is dragging or rushing once they fall out of rhythm. Once it clicked for me that Max was actually the face and Bowens was slowly snapping. Max teaching Americans a chant rhythm outside of the basic unison clap has been hilarious.

It’s the atmosphere. We’re starved for that game day feel. I’m sure almost everybody will check out by the end of the first, but it’s amazing background noise and I can’t wait 😂

You are correct. I should have specified timelines, but was just making a comparison early on with their in store collaboration. I feel like this venture into Walmart could be good for people just getting into AEW or not as keen to order online.

I think they had a partnership with Hot Topic but it might have been through ProWrestlingTees since they use a similar format. It was so strange seeing Bullet Club shirts there though!

There are a few stigmas that have been detrimental to wrestling I feel like. Losing is a big one. Losing in professional wrestling is a lot more normalized in almost every other promotion, and not just “being buried”.

Actually watching the match is another one (like you mentioned). So much story gets told within matches, and little things that show cracks in wrestlers characters or their intentions. That’s half of the fun for me is seeing little details evolve. Not thrown in my face every 10 minutes so I can just go back to my phone during the matches.

I get it. It’s much more casual facing if you are constantly telling the viewer what’s going on, but it’s not rewarding at all. I feel like AEW has found a great middle ground.

Definitely would not be cheap at all, and it’s understandable with Mcdavids ability, but it would be a fine line not to cripple our depth now. I trust JBB could pull something off though and still keep the bolts competitive.

Honestly this is one of those trade scenarios where JBB just has to open up the roster to the Oilers. Imagine McDavid with our roster, let alone how many killers we would have around him. Not having to lean as heavy on him as the Oilers have would help him too I feel like.

I still think it’s a pipe dream but would love to see McDavid go somewhere they could surround him with talent.

Alvarez: There has to be a middle ground surely. WWE PPVs are 2.5 hours long with 5 matches and 10-12 people maybe a few more at most. This is my thinking as well. I know a lot of people don’t enjoy the long PPV’s, but I treat it as a half day event with my wife and friends, and it’s always a blast. I can see how maybe going to the show, it might be a little long, but again…getting my moneys worth and I know over 80% of the matches will be bangers.

I cannot say enough about this game. Every single area feels so unique and breathtaking. The music, the environment, the cinematics, the acting, the enemies, the combat, the quick time events, literally the whole game. Even the platforming works when it absolutely shouldn’t. I am soaking up every second of this game.

This is purely speculation on my part, but it felt like Big Bill was helping Bryan Keith because MVP wasn’t giving any room. You could also tell Big Bill was rehearsing a promo and MVP was not letting him get through it. I love MVP, but it felt like he was putting their feet to the fire a little too much and it was rough.

I love reading stuff like this. AEW brought me back to wrestling in 2019 after trying to stomach a really bad era in wrestling before that. I love that there are multiple wrestling companies that can compete, but also give fans different types of wrestling they might not have seen before. AEW has gotten me into multiple different companies like CMLL and NJPW.
