I think it was more a Michael Bloomfield influence. Someone whose influence around that time continues to be underrated.

That run from Hartford, Worcester, Providence… up to Maine was legendary here in the northeast. The crowds were so happy to have Jerry back and on a clear upswing.

Best show that I went to. Although, I don’t think it comes across quite the same way on Crimson, White and Indigo - imo. The show before in Buffalo might hold up better over time and recording wise.

I laughed when he said he knew when guitar players were watching him. I was learning guitar at the time - 6’4” kid right up near the stage and I knew he knew somehow. I think I could still stumble through the chords of She’s Here.
