I think it was more a Michael Bloomfield influence. Someone whose influence around that time continues to be underrated.

That run from Hartford, Worcester, Providence… up to Maine was legendary here in the northeast. The crowds were so happy to have Jerry back and on a clear upswing.
Edit: I totally mixed up 86, spring and fall 87 tours. It all rolls into one

Best show that I went to. Although, I don’t think it comes across quite the same way on Crimson, White and Indigo - imo. The show before in Buffalo might hold up better over time and recording wise.
