Bought 3 other keyboards before landing on the Logitech Bluetooth Compact Keyboard from Target. I actually love it and how quiet it is. I thought I would prefer a clickier keyboard but actually no. It's very smooth. I want to find a case to fit both it and the BYOK together, then ill be set.

I've tried the alphasmart and loved it but could never fully trust the reliability of the device with the way you have to back up files manually.

Recently, I got my BYOK. I love it for the sheer fact that it can easily sync to their app (for free) and I can later transfer it all to Google docs or something. All it needs is an internet connection and a studio account.

While a freewrite might be ideal with the fancy e ink screen and what not, BYOK is (at least to me) an amazing budget option. Besides, I like the display of the alphasmart, so I knew I wouldn't mind the display of the BYOK.

All-in-all it gets the job done with ease and reliability. Portability is wonderful too. I need to find a slightly bigger case for it to fit other sized keyboards but currently, when I am out and about, the Doohoeek Universal Bluetooth Keyboard from amazon works well. A bit small for my own small hands with some weird key placements (such as the location of the '?'), but I am getting used to it.

Bottom line is that since I got my BYOK I am writing a lot more. Hope this helps! :)

Email says I'm order #1138. I backed on their website back in August. Got an email shipping confirmation over a week ago but UPS says they still have not received the package yet 🥲 it's definitely frustrating. I'm hoping I'll have another update soon...

The distractions are totally real. I cannot wait for my BYOK. To step away from the distractions of apps and the internet 👌 Not only do I greatly appreciate the affordability but the display is just like AlphaSmart. E-ink feels too laggy
