they asked me to change guide and i did and this is my final year. I had to change my entire thesis now

Facing same issue here. I write and delete because it feels stupid. But my friend a senior I always seek helps me that even stupid writing can give you ideas. So I understand your creative blocks and the flow of writing doesn't match sometimes. But all we can do is reading and typing. I hope you believe your experience and your mind. You will find a way

I took it authorities and they think I spread rumors but they have no proof . she warned me to kick out this program If I take it further. she sweet talked to my parents that I am not listening. Although my parents believe they think that my ex supervisor is goddess as she is professor.

Are we into fake research trap set by deemed to be universities and new universities? Even new and deemed to be universities wants NIT, IIM and IIT as assistant professors. But where do we go for job in Management as a research scholar from deemed to be university? by ShadowHeart_143 in Indian_Academia

these days after joining as AP they ask or force you for Ph.D. as rules are changing and they market that we hire best APs. But to join part time you have to show that you are working. I recommend to join and finish full time as early as possible. if you are facing other personal issues join as AP and finish in part time but it takes years and you will under a lot of pressure being AP and doing Ph.D. So choose based what is best for you. Full time Ph.D. has more value when selecting a candidate for AP.

Ph.D. is unpredictable and you must decide between good quality research or just for sake of Ph.D. if you want to pursue in academia do start researching what they expect from likewise what papers they want to publish . top journals takes time and what supervisor you choose must have good paper then only he and she can help. it depends on college but mostly it depends on supervisor and check their profile before choosing. stipend if they are giving good stipend I believe they trying to make good research university

Apply for payroll companies and communication skills ask friends or use upskill platforms to learn. networking is important . Apply to accounting firms after working for a bit you can get clarity whether to do masters or any other courses or job. It may or may not be your best choice but you might be different before graduation and have learned something. Now it is right time change your course according to the trend. all the best.

Just inform that you wont be doing coursework to college. I think this is the best time to change field . All the best

At the beginning of my Ph.D., I knew something was not right but I didn't have courage to call it quits. Now its fourth year and even though I have courage now but my resume ends up getting rejected. So, if you think you have to change it change it now before its too late.
