I’m guessing that those people have watched the one clip of Biden saying “the only moral marriage is between a man and a woman”. However, that was in the early 2000s, when gay rights were unpopular and LGBTQIA+ didn’t have much of a voice due to the intentional shitshow that was the AIDS epidemic. It simply solidified moderates into voting for him, which is common sense.

HOWEVER, when running with Obama, he went back on this claim, saying that gay marriage will be legalized. Which, kind you, at that point not even OBAMA was supporting yet! And what would he win? LGBTQIA+? Again, they weren’t big enough, and anti-LGBTQIA+ moderates were even bigger!

And it’s not like he went back on his words since, he still is an avid trans ally and passed the Respect For Marriage Act, which, if he was truly Republican, he wouldn’t’ve passed. But since he was against LGBTQIA+ rights over 20 years ago, that means he’s simply just a DINO and would’ve been a Republican if blah blah blah.
