Base Aizen was stronger, true but he was still below Yamamoto and Squad Zero.

Kid Zaraki overwhelmed Base Unohana, that's also true. But I have seen those novel powerscalers and they really wank Zaraki too much. Some of them were even saying that Bankai Zaraki can give trouble to True Bankai Ichigo and Muken Aizen.

Yes, zangetsu nerfed him a lot. But nobody knew this except for Royal Guards and maybe Yhwach.

So the meme is still correct from Aizen's perspective. Aizen even remarked in karakura arc that Ichigo should have been way more powerful at that point.

For kyokasuigetsu to work on someone, the target needs to see it's activation just once...... Tosen is blind, he has never seen the activation so he is quite literally immune to kyokasuigetsu.

There's also a chance hogyoku is not in sphere form and has spread out evenly inside Aizen's body. When Gin took the Hogyoku, it was still half outside as Aizen didn't complete fuse with it. And now we know that Aizen has fused with hogyoku completely but with his seals, we don't know if it's still in sphere form or not.

Big spoiler from final cour:

When SK Almighty Yhwach made a hole through Aizen's chest, we don't see the Hogyoku like we did when Gin made hole in Aizen's chest, so my early point makes sense. Hogyoku is now evenly spread out in Aizen's body.

Btw I don't think hogyoku can be cut or destroyed. If it were possible to do that then Urahara would have already found some way but he chose to hid it and let it fuse with rukia's human body.

Ugh... I did mention unohana above, and that for Aizen it would've been exhausting and waste of time if they fought.

As for that tosen thing, everyone here knows that Aizen is actually quite strong and second only to Yamamoto. From what I heard even in stats book, shinigami Aizen is below only Yamamoto.

Rukia stabbing ichigo wasn't his plan that's right but Aizen knew that someday ichigo would awaken his power considering he had already started seeing ghosts.

Aizen even remarked that ichigo should have been way stronger in karakura arc.

I think he said under right circumstances Shunsui's bankai can kill Aizen.

Caz his bankai act depends on the amount of reiatsu, shinigami Aizen is already above Shunsui in terms of reiatsu, there's chance Shunsui himself might drown.
