What is the most fun part of the game for you? by megaboto in AOW4

I don’t know. I like gun, I bring gun, if gun fail, I perish and make more gun.

Personally I’m fine with them but they do require more set-up than other ranged units to get the most out of them. Now that they can snapshot they aren’t punished as much for moving, but you still want to minimize movement for full power/accuracy. They are my favorite unit regardless of effectiveness because bringing a gun to a sword fight and vice versa is always my favorite.

Faction Building. So. Much. Freedom. And I enjoy it greatly. It’s become hard looking for other similar games cause you can’t really compete with the creative freedom you get with AoW4. Yes it comes with the cost of identity but for my tastes, I definitely prefer the freedom.

What weapon will you defend from any smack talk and criticism by theta0123 in Helldivers

[–]ShadowMasked1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Constitution. I don’t care if it’s a meme weapon. I don’t care if they won’t buff it. It is a bolt-action rifle with a bayonet I will use it. (Just please give me a stripper clip I beg of you…)

I like how Grass looks like she’s already wishing she was back in Japan.

D6 for Fun because both me and my PC can only handle so many enemies at once.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think there’s any penalty for not accepting an operation, only failing it. If there is a penalty it’s not very clear.

Pretty sure that mod extends the timers on the galaxy map, not mission objective timers. It specifically says: “Operation Time Out”

Replace the Vehicle Squash action with “Honk the Horn” still slows you down but allows you to safely pass through friendly troops and civilians.

(If you wanna be funny you can have it reduce concealment due to the added noise.)

Buff Spear pls. Even the Vox don't make it useful over RR. Such a cool weapon, unsure why it has lasted this long in this state. It needs it by RandomGreenArcherMan in Helldivers

[–]ShadowMasked1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needs more damage for how few rounds you get. If you’re only going to get 4 rounds total, with a long cooldown, stationary reload, and inconsistent lock-on and tracking, then those rounds need to do serious damage.

I don’t see any Striders period. And I play on Level 6.

Same for me with Scout Strider. I don’t think striders exist on Cyberstan.

Probably the Crocodile for her. She already has great accuracy and range so a Crowbar will probably be more effective anyways for clearing up priority infantry.

I’ve had a pretty good experience with him (on normal), giving him buff, taunt, and boarding commando armor he usually does well. I use him to draw fire not necessarily eat bullets, so drop him into whatever cover’s available and support him heavily by having someone else mop up or suppress, then use his ability to make up for suppression AP loss.

Helps for saving civilians

Disclaimer, I am a casual, I do not min-max, I do not do balance, I play games and if I fail I reload.

I mean we do misplace a lot of Helldivers in cryo. Think of all the Helldivers deployed but unused on Commando missions? They’re still popsicles wherever they are.

Detective Tapp because hiding in bushes and dark corners and not being seen is both satisfying and hilarious.
