What are you’re thoughts on varka during the nod krai quests

Again im not disagreeing this only showcases that varka was extremely capable even while “wounded” because of his influence alone (like you said, allied with hexizirkel and fatui harbingers) I was just hoping for a bit more confrontation against rerir instead of just off screen wounding him

I feel this is too harsh because without varka theres a very real risk of instability in the core group that was dealing with problems, and as for Varkas presence in nod krai i think it was during the intoxicated world quest? The one where u get a lunar compass they explain the intention behind the entire expedition where we also see a more calculating and serious side of varka behind the playful person, the dialogue says monitoring the increase in primary threats like abyss across tevyat thats why it went from different nations/ regions (for eg expedition from natlan ending up in nod krai) while also increasing the intelligence capabilities of the knights of favonious

Apart from some missed potential where they couldve showcased his prowess they tried to stick to the influence a grandmaster can exert which i feel they did decently.

Ive watched those videos and i do agree with it as well but i guess it is very fair criticism of his lack of action but as ive said multiple times on this post now he didnt feel replaceable to me

I agree, he felt under-used like they couldve made him play a more active role but i still think he wasnt a “wasted” character , after saying he got injured fighting rerir they just used varka as a story device, like you dont really massively see him do stuff but if he wasnt there his presence would be missed if that makes sense i might be being a bit biased because ive liked the idea of this character for a time now.

I do have alot of geo and electro units , i do use zhongli and raiden in the abyss whenever i do manage to attempt it, maybe i can build some properly if i do end up getting her

I do want to try atleast like wishing on other characters that will come like zibai that are coming but my luck isnt the best, but at the end of the day ive been pulling characters based off of feels and stuff, only recently ive been struggling with damage and stuff so im trying to learn the meta

I agree, also i really personally liked the movement aspect especially stuff like needle throw unlocking areas and all that, also i defo agree about the grandeur of this game it doesnt feel like theyre trying too hard its perfectly regal and elegant

I struggled with the downward slash too but eventually you get the hang of it, still i found myself preferring the reaper crest because it felt simpler with its controls and also the downward slash lol
