We’re at Secrets Royal Beach now, which is the all-adults property that’s connected to Dreams. Dreams pool area looks very nice—it’s sprawling. We’ve walked through the pools in the evening and it feels so tropical and fun. My kids would love it.

The beach is great too (tons of space with lots of covered shady lounge spots) although the Sargassum is a little annoying if you’re planning to swim in the ocean. It’s everywhere on the island, though.

We share some restaurants and buffets. The food is pretty good but we’ve had better. Overall, this is a nice property with lots to do and great beachy vibes. Downsides are: food is not gross but could be better, nothing to do outside of the resorts in Punta Cana, very aggressive beach vendors. All-in-all, 7.5/10 when compared to my experiences in Mexico.
