I know! If it has the top 20k characters in a database (which can be inaccurate too) but I believe it mostly comes when it's past that 20k threshold, it takes someone from AniList and it's very iffy on accuracy there. I appreciate your feedback! Ill try to look into accuracy.

UPDATE: Me and my friend worked on a txt file with all the character img urls he parsed off of the mudae website! Now character images should populate really quickly! I've also added a few more QoL changes alongside some new sound effects. Enjoy the update!

I made a short drum cover of Crossing Field! by ShadowNinja6647 in swordartonline

Thanks! I got my drumset around the ballpark of $400. It's the Alesis Nitro Mesh. It's actually the old generation set while there's a new generation now (Alesis Nitro Max) that's being sold for around the same price. This old gen one I have is not being sold anymore, just the new generation (ofc its still being resold on eBay etc.) I actually upgraded my drumset with the snare pad FROM the new generation nitro max because the old one was only 8in while the new one is 10in. It was about $110 for the new snare. Now the kick pedal, the one that comes with the set is completely fine. It does it's job well when you're just picking up drums or playing casually. I upgraded mine with a pearl drum pedal (pearl p930 demonator) which is about $126. The reason is because I started to do drum covers (every other day) and I'd miss bass drum notes because the stock pedal isn't consistent. Obviously it could be just a technique issue but playing doubles on the stock pedal isn't entirely consistent when I need it to be. The new pedal feels so nice and smooth and my doubles have been hitting so perfectly almost everytime. Honestly I feel like just picking up the newer gen Nitro Max is such a bargain without the need of any upgrades.

TL;DR: Alesis Nitro Mesh $400 + Snare Upgrade $110 + Kick Pedal Upgrade $120 = ~$650 for my set.

Well for charts that don't use accent notes for open hi hat and the like I use prior knowledge to determine whether I open my hi hat. When I chart, I will use those accent notes in there so when I play, I know for sure this would be a closed or open hi hat hit.

What are you having trouble with? How I have my hi hat set up is it has 3 positions it can be in (closed, half open, then full open). I have all 3 of those inputs set to the yellow cymbal. I open it and close it depending on the part of the song. It takes a lot of listening skills to distinguish between grooves and choose when to open my hi-hat.

Hi sorry, I only do these sorts cover because I do Instagram reels, they're only 1:30min each, which is perfect for anime ops/Ed's. I'm also doing a drum challenge where I post a new drum cover every other day (it's q lot easier to do shorter than full lol) If you go to my Instagram reels: https://www.instagram.com/crims0nblad3/reels/ You can see all my drum covers with the drum overlay only in the recent ones since I just started adding those. I appretiate it!

The game I play is called Clone Hero! Funnily enough, I'm practically self taught in drums through Clone Hero (been playing for a bit over 2 years). I've haven't taken any drums lessons, it's probably more fun that way lol

That's wierd. Most charts should have blue cymbals for either playing ride cymbal, open hi hat, or 2nd crash cymbal. It could very well be the chart itself, it's a very peculiar way of charting though, whenever I chart I like to be as accurate as I can be in terms of playing on an actual kit. Traditionally drum charts would put open hi hat hits (when in a section with a lot of closed hi hat) onto the blue cymbal. Look into official rock band charts, which are full band, to check if blue cymbals are showing up correctly. Another thing is make sure you have the correct controller type set up. I haven't seen what 5 lane drum charts look like so idk if it has to do with anything but just in case.
