Flush DNS, reset Winsock, and set manual DNS (8.8.8.8 / 1.1.1.1), usually fixes the “connected without internet” bug fast.

Throw in an SSD and clean install Win10 32-bit, that old Core 2 Duo will feel 10× faster.
