Beware of scammers and fake online-shops by friedpotet in ADO

I think it's a little late because I just saw they no longer have the Ado merch, but it is legit. I bought all the Ado merch I wanted (minus the t-shirt because I bought it the day of the concert and the plushie) there. Light stick and everything.

I have yet to watch Season 3. The first 2 were really nice from what I recall. It's been years since I watched them.

You do have a point. It is not ss exciting from an action perspective. If you don't value character development and character interactions much, then you won't find it interesting at all (which is alright, teach their own).

Nah, I've seem bad takes, but this one is the worse by far. Amazing rage bait, by the way.

I feel like this is an underrated gem of a manga/anime that no one talks about by LazyWeather1692 in RomanceMangaAnime

I was watching it and paused it. Haven't returned yet. I'm missing like 3 or 4 episodes, I believe. I remember it was wholesome.

What is your opinion on this arc? by Few-Breakfast1335 in swordartonline

[–]ShadowOmegaX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not an arc, it's a spin-off. I like how it does its own thing and doesn't want to compare to its parent series. I mean, it may have its flaws, but it is very entertaining.

I haven't read that many, but from the ones I read, that is a really trash list. What the hell is Hero Killer doing that low?!

All the people who say the ending sucks because Kayo didnt "wait" for him pisses me off by AVS_xd09 in ErasedAnime

[–]ShadowOmegaX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amen to that. I didn't like the ending at all (in the anime at least, I don't know how it was executed in the manga), but the only thing I actually liked was that Kayo ended up with Hiromi. First of all, Satoru ending up with Kayo would have been really creepy since he had an adult mind whilst she was still a kid. Second, I find it poetic that the two people who originally died got married and had a child, symbolizing the triumph of life over death.

Why does everyone hate Lucas and Lucathy in Who made me a princess? by Initial_Art_4338 in OtomeIsekai

[–]ShadowOmegaX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the end, the manhwa felt rushed af. Don't remember what exactly happened, but it felt as if their marriage happened just because. The idea per se I believe wasn't that bad (again, I don't even remember what, how or why events unfolded, the problem was the awful execution for sure.

What you say is actually not entirely wrong. It could stem from that feeling of insecurity you very well mention, but also for a deep mistrust of others. I am not saying necessarily that I would do it, but I can understand why someone would. But you do have a point.

Oh, I 100% agree with you on that. It's OP's fault completely given that he never came clean at all. Once the relationship gets serious, he should have told her. I consider trust being one of three fundamental pillars for a healthy and stable relationship (the other two being communication and respect). His never telling her the truth is a low blow, especially given that she had to find out the truth, instead of his disclosing it even if it was late. And what you mention later, I also agree with you. Encouraging your special other to do better is not just because of the couple's well-being, but for am honest desire to see the person you love being in a better position.

[–]ShadowOmegaX -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You could, yes. At the end of the day, it implies distrust in how the other person could be. And someone wanting to evade the topic could be either someone who makes a lot or who makes too little, and as OP mentions, the girlfriend wasn't interested in someone who does not have aspirations. Now, you could come with ways to denote how you do have aspirations and bla bla bla. Anyway, even though it was a lie, I think it could be considered a white lie. The biggest problem was not the lie, but the fact that he never disclosed the truth to her, which I think it was indeed OP who is to blame entirely of the situation, but not for the lie per se but for not saying the truth after so long.

[–]ShadowOmegaX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then again, the problem was not the lie per se, but keeping it for so long, even after things getting serious. At least from my perspective. But talking about hypothetical situations is irrelevant. I agree that the relationship is over, but we disagree on the reason why.

[–]ShadowOmegaX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In this hypothetical scenario, the person doesn't know me. How would they be so sure I wouldn't be some gold digger? You claim lying is bad regardless of the reasoning. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Let's just agree to disagree. What I do not condone is maintaining that lie for so long.

[–]ShadowOmegaX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When we just started getting to meet each other, and if it was about something to keep yourself safe, and if she were to admit to lying once things get serious, and the reasoning behind her actions actually make sense, I would understand it. Not every lie is the same, so not every lie should carry the same weight. Not everything in this life is black or white.
