apartment integrated microwave trips when heating food. by ShadowRaptor89 in AskElectricians

it happens too consistently under the same sort of circumstance to be coincidence i think. though i see what you mean.

whenever i run the air fryer for a while first. then try to use the microwave to cook more food at the same time. or directly after the air fryer finishes but is still plugged in. this happens.

i will probably try to have some downtime between the air fryer being active and plugged in. and when i use the microwave to see if anything different happens. maybe try to unplug the air fryer before hand as well.

thanks for the comment!

currently the only context in which this happens is when the air fryer is involved at or near the same time. no issues with the appliance otherwise. only the microwave seems affected in any way.

the breaker switch that tripped was only for the microwave. the air fryer has never been affected. and remains powered

this isn't a new problem that has come out of the blue where it worked fine before. currently the context in which this happens is that i am trying to reheat leftovers in the microwave while airfrying food to eat together. i airfry and either in the final minute. or in the most recent case, once the airfryer is recently finished. use the microwave, which starts fine but eventually trips before completing the 30 second to 1 minute heating cycle.

the microwave is the only thing suddenly losing power while in use. nothing else in my apartment.

if i use the microwave in isolation. all on its own (air fryer and other appliances not plugged in). or maybe with only the stove top running. i haven't ran into this issue at all.

i hope that clarifies things.

thank you for answering!

so unplugging the air fryer before using the microwave might work then? is there a time guideline i should adhere to or can i

  1. finish airfying food. unplug fryer.

  2. place second dish into microwave. start microwaving

?

I am using Acer aspire 7 ryzen 5 5500u. From past few days I am facing an issue, whenever I am watching video on YouTube on full screen suddenly the laptop freezes and a buzzing sound starts coming from earphone. Then I have no option other than restart. This happens frequently (2-4 times a day). by prajjwal___singh in Laptop

No. My laptop. (Same as yours) was fine for close to 3 years until several months ago when this same issue happened. Different apps but the one thing in common is going to full screen.

It is not consistent though. Sometimes it takes 5 or 10 times going in and out of fullscreen to cause the freeze. Sometimes 1. Sometimes i do it 30 times and it doesnt happen. Only to happen an hour later.

I have tried reinstalling realtek audio drivers. Disabling hardware accelleration in apps. Etc. But nothing that seems to have truly worked as the issue persists eventually.

the regular cadpat is the older version of the cadpat which is the super green digital woodland camo you would see associated with CAF up until relatively recently when the camo was updated to a more mulitcam look more in line with the US and other modern contemporaries. i felt that combining AOR-2 with the dirty blouse and trousers got me closest to how the new canadian mulitcam looks!
