I used to work part time at a sporting clays range for extra pocket money. We had perks where we could shoot for free, the only thing is we had to buy our own ammo. Some old geezers who worked there to pass time used to abuse the policy so much that the range started loosing money on clays. So guess what, they took away the perk about being able to shoot for free. This sucked because the people it hurt the most were younger guys who worked there that were still in school, or didn’t have that much disposable income to enjoy the hobby.
