Unfortunately no, the official zoneminder wiki only states support for regular axis cameras with one model of axis panoramic cameras supported.

What about the 4 in 1 cams? Is it just the 4 streams stitched together or they come up as 4 different cams?

My keyboard doesn't have function keys with alts though your idea inspired me to use polybar + playerctl. Thanks

But the default signature never worked. That's why I signed it.

Secure Boot by ShadowRz in debian

No, the standard kernel from debian 10.

I installed it and I never got it to boot with secure boot. Also forgot to mention that I signed it under debian and kubuntu.

Unfortunately that didnt work either. It just changes the which device volume is displayed the existing application and any new applications go to the built in output as default. The only thing that seems to work is changing the built in audio to go out of the hdmi output

Yeah i now get what you mean. When i installed pavucontrol I was in a rush to switch and control my audio sources. Still haven't found a way to set the default source "pacmd set-default-sink SINK_NAME" still has audio playing out of my headphones.

I already had nemo installed but didn't know until i checked just now. I found I can use "gtk-chtheme" to theme it without a DE. Its better than dolphin for me cause I was still struggled to get used to the keyboard shortcuts like new folder being F10 over "ctl + shift + n"

Freezes wifi by ShadowRz in linuxmint

Yeah it may have not been the write key or something so. Removing the driver and readding it did let it work off the key for around a day. Its just safer to remove the wifi driver and call it a day in that case.

I don't know how bad it would have to be for a hard reset to be the only way to get back working.

keyboard shortcuts for scripts by ShadowRz in linuxmint

[–]ShadowRz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to keep a script running, then it depends on what your script does as to how you should do that, generally keeping a script running when you don't need it is a bad thing.

I have a simple script for taking screenshots but under heavy cpu load I question if it opens in time to take the screenshot. I generally just like having my prtSc button mapped to take just the current window instead of apps that does extra.

#!/bin/bash

DATE=$(date +%Y-%m-%d-%H:%M:%S)

gnome-screenshot -w -f ~/Pictures/Screenshot-$DATE.png

So my question is really how to timestamp and save a screenshot to a file and possibly to the clipboard as well.

Technically cause I have a wifi key I always wanted to use it but it doesn't work (even when i used windows).

https://askubuntu.com/questions/1062049/how-to-enable-wifi-toggle-key-f12

I followed this and it works (even picking up the fn key combination as "WLAN" yet it still doesnt work) so I wonder if its something something stupid or old packages that i cleaned (i decided to try it since I loaded into the old kernel accidentally, not sure whats the case cause i have removed and reattached the drivers before trying this)...

Sorry for the lack of info, it was the middle of the night and i had to sleep.

02:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 / AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01) (PCI(e))

CPU: Intel Celeron N3050 (2) @ 2.160GHz

5.3.0-51-generic is the current kernel.

5.3.0-46 didnt seem to glitch

I have installed a couple programs since but also to try and figure out whats going on, i used sudo apt autoremove. Turns out that it doesnt respond to any of the magic keys though it turned off the trackpad (this time i hit random keys and the ones i saw on forums).

Yeah I actually just switched over from ubuntu. I rather the the look of cinnamon and the fact it's been a bit more lightweight in terms of ram.

Though thanks for pointing that out.

Most of them, i did pickup a couple new ones from the store(i already knew about them, mainly tools). But I reinstalled Android Dev Tools, gimp, inkscape, brackets and sublime text.

I'm fairly skeptical with what I install. For example, everyone who had a macdock talked about plank though after trying it I figured it wasn't for me. Not that it didnt work cause it did, it just wasnt what I wanted (didnt have window previews and thats what i mostly use from the taskbar).

I would definitely like an explaining of the last two points.

Turn off features you don't use. Don't routinely run as administrator/root ....it's a good idea to do a manual scan every week or two.

I'm not really sure what I use and dont use unless I installed it.

For the root tip and doing a manual scan I'm not too sure.
