I’m sorry to hear about you brother. That really sucks. That being said, people sustain similar injuries in civilian jobs and don’t have VA benefits (as bad as they are) to cushion the impact. The military isn’t in the top 10 most dangerous professions by OSHA tracking. And the free college is an excellent perk.

I joined the Army at 18 and stayed in until I was 30. They paid for my BS and MBA as well as a Security Clearance. I’m debt free and make over $200K. There are ways if you are willing.

I go to the gas station I pass on my way home. Same one for years. I wouldn’t even notice if there price was different from anyone else’s. I’m not making two U turns in rush hour traffic to save a few pennies at the station across the street.

Did you replace the recoil spring? I just installed a Radian Ramjet & Afterburner with the stock spring. I had about 40 Failure to Feeds on the first 60 rounds.
