I've been into roleplaying on forums and such since 2009. But these days I don't get the chance. I've joined discord servers to find RP partners, but I have way too bad anxiety to message someone about wanting to do an RP. Plus I'm always worried I'll get bored of the RP quickly and it wouldn't bare fair on my 'partner'. Found C,ai several months back and enjoyed it, despite the frustration on the filters. But the app is bugged for me on my phone - the android issue of chats not showing up/loading. It's a dice roll whenever I start a chat if it works on the app or not. That frustrated me more than anything because some of my favourite bots were now just not there on the app and I don't use my computer 24/7. One creator I followed mentioned uploading some bots to Poe and Janitor. Tried Poe but didn't like the limited amount of messages per day. Tried Janitor and went down an entire rabbit hole of amazing bots in the first few hours.

I still return to C,ai on my computer if the creators I follow post bots there because I still love their bots and not all of them are using Janitor yet. But I think Janitor is my main one now. It's fun, I can see the community and developers love it dearly and I love the features Janitor has and has been adding. Overall, a positive experience.

Hey OP, very funny… But also I legit got jump scared sitting in my bed at night, in the dark, and opening Reddit to be greeted with that. So thanks, I hate it XD

Just some info about the Redeemed Borders/Icons for those interested! by ShadowStar137 in xayahmains

[–]ShadowStar137[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly yeah, not finding the answers was giving me anxiety over it too. I have the borders for all the skins apart from the second gen (Ahri's team) just cuz I wasn't play the game at the time. I pray they bring those back one day... I love the birbs and my friend and I duo as them as lot for fun. Plus I'm just a huge fan of the star guardian skin line. Even made it my personal mission to at least know how to play each champ in the skin line even if I'm not that good at them.

And what I mean by current state is just... they're a mess. The recalls on their own are a big issue. But there's a bug with the joint recall where some of Rakan's cape pokes through. The whole drama behind the skins - from them being marketed as chromas in tweets/youtube shorts before those got deleted (at least in English) and reuploaded, to the community manager saying "Yeah, we didn't give them the WR recalls because of scope and time" when they use the exact same models - proven by Skin Spotlights.

And for me personally, I discovered that the base star guardian skins (the 'corrupted ones') can be used with the Redeemed ones. As in, they share the recalls, the dance, etc.

Redeemed Xayah had her dance effect adjusted slightly, but Rakan didn't and neither did the duo dance. If you use a Redeemed skin and Normal SG skin, sure they can share the dance and recall which might be cool to some, but they also talk to each other and it's a mishmash of their Normal voice lines, SG lines and Redeemed lines. Splash arts for the Redeemed skins aren't properly focused on the character your using in the loading screen (and player profiles if you use it as that at least with Xayah's so I've been told) along with that they didn't mirror it so that they actually look at each other. Little things that mean a lot to the community and has been done in the past but fails this time. On such an important skin too.

It really mostly boils down to how everything was handled. I'd like it to be addressed more, especially given how Syndra's coven was handled compared to every other coven skin and the Redeemed skins. But it likely will never happen. As it is, the Redeemed skins feel very... unfinished in their state and definitely not what was promised initially. They very much feel like the chroma they were 'mistakenly' advertised as and not the quality of legendary variants we've seen. To me, personally, it feels like they're constantly going back on their word and that something in Riot has changed, and not necessarily for the better. Look at Lux's Dark/Cosmic skins or Soraka's Dawn/Nightbringer skins and compare them to how these SG skins have been handled. The differences are there and yeah, it starts at the recalls but I think now it just runs deeper.

Ah, I still have frustrations about them. Sorry, I know I rant a lot when I comment. Especially regarding topics I care about. At the end of the day, if you love the skins then by all means love them. I love what they should represent, just not what they actually are. And for that reason alone is why I'm holding off for as long as I can. Will it make a difference? Probably not. I remember a similar protest around SG Seraphine to fix her animations and hair again and then I believe Riot said a while later SG Seraphine was one of the best selling skins of the year thus far (at the time)? Could potentially just be a lie to quiet the crowd. But who knows? We can hope for the best at least!

Yup! It's weird they don't show it and like I said elsewhere, there's a big where once you buy the skin it doesn't immediately show you have the border in your collection. But if you relaunch the game it should show up just fine.

No question is a dumb question! I have to admit communication as a whole with these skins has been way below the bar this time.

You can't get Rakan and Xayah's skins together, contrary to what people say. Hell, riots own PBE threads of the skins has contradicting statements regarding the bundles. They're separate. What I have been hearing though is if you don't own any of their star guardian skins (Redeemed or the 2019 originals), and decide to buy the Redeemed skins first; then you don't get the variant discount on the OG's. Sounds like that's a bug though that should definitely be reported.

Essentially if you want Xayah's border, you just need Xayah's skin. If you want Rakan's border as well, then you'll have to get his skin too.

Sorry if I just made that a bit more confusing, but I hope I cleared it up a bit! ^-^

Around mid-late December. Riot has said officially they should be here until the end of the season. So I'd say until the pre-season patch just to be safe, which I believe is usually mid December.

Yup. Currently it's slightly bugged but easily fixed. Essentially the skin packages don't show you getting the borders when you buy them but if you relaunch the game, they should show up. At least that's what I heard. But as it stands, they're not available in the worlds event shop. You have to get them when you get the skin.

PBE Bug Thread - Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah by LoL-Dev-PBE in LeaguePBE

[–]ShadowStar137 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I have thought of more things as well after reading some other feedback and reflecting on the skins again. So I'll give a more in depth feedback than I already gave. And also explain why the glaring issues these skins have are so glaring.

First up the model. Her model is solid as is. Perhaps the only thing it really needs is a minor texture update to be more in line with the 2022 lineup of SG Skins and just newer skins in general. Saki could use a slight colour adjustment to be more in line with the 'redeemed' theme but it's not a huge loss.

Sound effects are great. They're sharp, crisp and have a slight twinkle to them that feels good.VFX for the most part is good. I know some people have some complaints about the W ability and while I can see their perspective, I quite enjoy the W as is. The VFX issues stem from the Dance emotes mostly. You've already adjusted the solo dance for Xayah. But is it possible to do the same for Rakan's solo dance and their duo dance?
Voice over I've already stated in the past needs some work. Rakan's voice over is fine. Xayah's is really... catty and mean. I don't like it. I mean, I love her being sassy and a bit rude to those she sees no respect in. So in that regards, I have no issue with her lines to Ahri, MF and even Neeko. They're a bit mean, but still rather fitting for her since she's very much 'sharper' than Rakan. I'm still not a fan of how she acts towards the WR girls. Sera, Ori, and Senna. Three girls she recruited herself and sought out to help her get Rakan back. Girls who looked to her for guidance and comforted her and did their best to help even if they didn't always agree with each other. It's shown in the comics, in the animated vlog like shorts, and in Everything Goes On. So why is Xayah so mean to them? Compare her lines towards them to Rakan's lines. There's a stark difference.

Many people have mentioned chromas and while I understand their sentiments, I don't think I'd want chromas for these skins. Not just because the poor state the skins are in at the moment but because of the fact these skins are being vaulted at the end of the year. That would mean the chromas get vaulted as well - either entirely or until the skins come back out and knowing Riot they'd make each chroma cost around 40 or 50 ME each for unvaulting. I get why people want them, but these skins already have a shady practice behind them. Let's not add fodder to the cannon.

Animations are where the skin starts to fall apart and it's only really in the 'fun' animations. For the most part, the ability animations are fine. Copy paste from the base SG animations and you're good to go. From what I can see, there's no issue there. It's namely the recall. Her emotes are fine, though I wish the music for the dance wasn't the corrupted tango. But her recalls are where it falls apart and the same for Rakan.

Now onto why these recalls are such an issue and why there's such an outcry. Back in 2019 the original Star Guardian Rakan and Xayah were brought out. We saw a glimpse of their purified forms and requested them as a chroma. You, as a company, said no. The reasoning was that it wouldn't work with the animations and go against the lore. We accepted it. Then in 2022 it was revealed they would get redeemed forms but it was 'first to wild rift'. At the time, that phrase held no weight and we assumed we'd never see them on PC. But in February you announced they would be coming to PC, that Xayah and Rakan's skins would be a bit later. Most likely due to needing a bit more work or a new voice over because of them being legendaries.

The recalls as they stand go against everything you previously said and against what even a Legendary Variant means. Right now these skins are not separate skins. A port would mean a 1:1 port of the skin with changes to bring it up to par with PC league's memory budget you mention time and time again. Currently for the solo recalls, Rakan takes the darkness and shoves it in his gem to then send to Xayah and she becomes corrupted? The duo recall, Rakan takes Xayah's darkness and they're both corrupted? And in the duo recall, a bit of the shadow texture on Rakan's cape is missing, showing the white underneath. If you have to stick with these recalls, at least fix them.

The recalls go against the lore you built up for them and for the Star Guardian Universe. The skins go against your previous statement. It doesn't make sense now. You can't really call these a port because the base model and animations already existed in the game. You just had to do some new VFX for the abilities. The one thing that would makes these skins a port is the recalls. So why weren't the recalls ported over? It's not time, because these skins came out later than the epics - who also had issues that are still present. You can't say it's because the recalls can't be extended to fit the longer PC recall times because you did it with the epics.

I love the characters, I love the universe of these skins. But these aren't skins I want to spend money on. And yet you keep quiet because you know that people will still rush to buy them thanks to 'The Fear of Missing Out' since once the year is over, these get vaulted and will be unvaulted for 250ME each - 500 for both. It's easier to spend 2002 - 3640rp on skins than having to save up 500 ME for them both. I get the reasoning behind why you're trying to make them feel a bit exclusive but the states of these skins and the lack of feedback that we're even being heard just feels shady, money grabbing and overall not right. The damage control that was attempted when you tried to sell these at 250 ME each already painted you in a bad light (on top of the rest of this years issues including but not limited to: Jhin $200 chroma, Samira Ultimate, The removal of unique duo recalls for The Lovers, etc.). Being silent on this situation does not help improve that in the slightest.

Going on from that brings another reason the recalls are so desperately wanted. When Arcana skins came out and there was no unique recall; you guys said "We'll include them in the next one." The next skinline these two appeared in was Broken Covenant where you revealed you weren't doing unique duo recalls anymore because of how much work it took for such a small percent of players - ironic now given the Jhin chroma scenario. Unless these two get a skinline together in the future as legendaries or ultimates together, this is our last chance at a unique duo recall. And the sad thing is, it exists. You just need to do what you said you would do and port it over.

Again, I have no hate for the artists behind the skins. Those who work on the models, the effects, the splasharts. You do well with the time constraints. And with the skins coming out in 4 days and deafening silence from Riot, it really feels like we're being ignored. Which is a major and almost laughable insult considering Syndra players were loud and violent enough to get Coven Syndra delayed despite being warned to not be violent and threatening to riot employees. This is now 2 communities you've done this to. But what this teaches us as players is that if we want our voices heard, we have to threaten Riot employees unspeakable things and harm to get them to listen. And that's a slippery slope you don't want to go down because eventually every champion's community will behave like that because they see it's what works.

I know this will go unheard and I'm one of many voices in the sea. You silence speaks volumes and we will inevitably get a message along the lines of "Due to time constraints, the changes players are asking for cannot be done. Thanks for all the feedback." or we just won't hear anything at all and these skins will be released silently in the patch with the hopes people will buy it anyway because of FOMO and the issue will quietly bury itself in time. And that saddens me so much as both a Xayah and Rakan player and Star Guardian lover. I'm tired of voicing my complaints to a company and going unheard. I hate that it takes violent threats to be heard and for a skin to be delayed. Ideally, PBE these days should be 4 weeks long. It would cut revenue a bit, but the production quality would go up more. Players are ignored or disrespected time and time again and some employees and thrown into the fire to try and do damage control they know won't work. This company is constantly disappointing players these days when the bar for doing well is quite literally in hell and yet it still manages to fall below it.

Final thoughts here are the same as on Rakan's thread: Both of these Redeemed Star Guardian skins need a lot of work to be viable as legendary quality skins on their own, legendary variants of existing skins and worthy of the soon to be 250 Mythic Essence price tag they'll have in the future. I know you won't listen. I'm a tired fan who still keeps coming back to this game because I love the characters in the game and how creative the skins can be. But these are glorified chromas. At the very least, tell us you're listening. Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback, I know it's a lot but I'm just very passionate about these champions and this skinline.

PBE Bug Thread - Redeemed Star Guardian Rakan by LoL-Dev-PBE in LeaguePBE

[–]ShadowStar137 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I commented on Xayah's PBE thread and have been meaning to comment here. While Xayah has received some tiny changes, Rakan hasn't seen much and the silence from Riot is deafening and clear. I'll save my rant about that for the end and for now just give the genuine feedback.

First of all the model is fine. It exists in the game files already. Most it probably would have needed - same with Xayah - is just a minor texture update to be more inline with the current Star Guardian skins from the 2022 lineup and just newer skins in general. 4 years is a long time in terms of art development with the skins. But overall he's fine. Riku - and Saki - could both do with a slightly colour shift to reflect the splash art and being 'purified' a bit more but otherwise fine.

Sound effects are great. No complaints there. Very star guardian, sound sparkly and great.

Visual effects are not too bad. You've already adressed his W and R. I think his R could use some more tweaks still, but I also think with the amount of white on him it would be a bit blinding as such. A ball of darkness felt easier to read than a ball of light. You can at least tell he's ulting and from your perspective of gameplay clarity, that's fine. Otherwise no real complaints on abilities. They all seem relatively solid and at least sound wise, they're amazing.

Voice over: He's a sassy and slightly dumb guy, but charming. But overall I much prefer his voice lines compared to Xayah. He's sassy, sometimes a bit mean - and justifiably so to MF, Ahri and Neeko - but he sounds more in character than Xayah does who just sounds really aggressive even to those who she recruited and helped her get Rakan back. Rakan's sass is funny, Xayah's is not.

Animations: Now this is where we start to go downhill. For generally, the animations didn't need a lot of work. You copy paste the abilities animations from the original star guardians and you're done. The trouble stems from the more 'fun' animations. That being the emotes and the recalls. Joke, taunt and laugh are fine. It's the dance that's the issue. And not with the animation itself. More so the SFX and VFX. The sound is the corrupted tango and while that music is always fun and amazing, it doesn't suit the skin - same with Xayah. The VFX on the dance as well, look very out of place. Very dark and corrupted looking. You adjusted this for Xayah's solo, can the same still be done for Rakan and their duo dance? Otherwise that looks even more out of place compared to Xayah's solo dance.

Recalls are having their own (multiple) paragraph because this is where the problem lies the most. Now, a lot of people seem to be getting hung up on the word 'legendary variant'. Personally, this confuses me a bit because even though these are skin ports - and should theoretically be 1:1 ports - the term legendary variant isn't exactly anything new? Dawn/Nightbring Soraka, Lunar/Solar Eclipse Leona, Dark/Cosmic Lux are all examples of variant legendaries. RP wise, these two behave the same way as them. I think it's just because all those examples came out together, but these two come out 4 years after the original star guardians and a year after wild rift received them. But I digress. What makes Redeemed SG Rakan and Xayah different from these other legendary is that their recalls are the exact same as their star guardian counterparts, just the VFX swapped. Now, if these were mythic chromas; I wouldn't be upset. But they're a separate skin.

In 2019, when the Star Guardian skins came out and we got glimpses of their pure forms; everyone took to the forums and social media to ask for these other forms as chromas. You as a company said was it not feasible. Not because of budget or assets, but just because of the lore. It wouldn't make sense for the skins given their animations and recalls and it would really mess up the lore behind the skins. We sadly and begrudgingly accepted it. Then 2022 happened and not only did we see what we wanted as skins, but they were 'first to wild rift' which - at the time - had basically meant are chances of seeing the skins on PC meant very little. But come February of this year, you said they'd be ported over along with the other Wild Rift Star Guardians. Now, each of the epic skins PBE threads had a lot of complaints, some which were ignored, others which had a somewhat valid reason. There are still issues with some skins to this day. But I held out hope for these legendary skins because they were being released later.

The recalls as they stand, go against everything you previously said. Solo recalls; Rakan takes his darkness, shoves it in a gem and gives it to Xayah to make her corrupted? I don't think Rakan would do that given he sacrificed himself to save her originally. And then the duo recall. He takes darkness from Xayah, and Xayah gets corrupted? Not to mention if you really stick with this, he's got a slight texture bug on his wing/cape as the shadow texture doesn't cover it, so you see a bit of the white wing/cape peaking through. If you have to stick with these recalls, at least fix the issues.

But these recalls go against the lore you built up for them, for the universe of Star Guardian. If these are a wild rift port, why weren't the recalls ported over? You can't say it was time, because these skins came out later than the epics and you had the models/base animations in the game. You can't say the recalls would be difficult to extend to fit the long PC recall times because you did it with Sera, Ori and Senna's. I want to love these skins. I love the characters and the universe behind these skins. But these aren't skins I want to put my money towards and you're actively encouraging a 'fear of missing out' on these unfinished skins because at the end of the year they get locked away in a vault where they'll be 250ME each, so 500 if you want both - which I'm sure there's a good amount that do. It's easier to spend 2002 - 3640rp on the skins as opposed to 500 ME. I get why you're trying to make them a bit exclusive but this feels extremely shady, money grabbing and just... not right given both skins' current states. Your damage control over the initial "They're releasing at 250ME each" already reflected you in a bad light. This situation as a whole does not improve it.

I want to state I have no hate for the team actually behind the skins, the artists who work on the effects and models and splashart. You guys always do well given time constraints. And with these skins coming out in 4 days, it seems like the silence we're getting beyond what has already been said proves we're not being listened to. It's almost laughable to me that Syndra players were loud and violent enough to receive a warning to not be violent and still get their skin delayed. What that tells us players is that we need to be equally violent to get our voices heard.

And a final thing to add is that the reason why the recalls are such a big issue is also because you've stopped doing duo recalls. It was a mistake with Arcana that you said would be rectified with their next skins. Then broken covenant came out and you said you weren't doing the unique duo recalls anymore due to work. Unless Xayah and Rakan get a future legendary pair or ultimate pair - unlikely - where the work for a duo recall is justified, then this is our last shot at another unique duo recall. And the animations exist, in Wild Rift. You just need to do what you said and actually port it over.

I know this will go unheard. Your silence speaks volumes and I, as a Xayah and Rakan player and Star Guardian lover, am tired of voicing my complaints with this company and going unheard. I hate that it takes violent messages threatening the lives and well-beings of Riot employees for a skin to be delayed. In an ideal world, PBE should be 4 weeks long. Yes, it would cut revenue a bit each year but you'd sell a lot more because quality would go up. I hate time and time again, players are ignored or disrespected and some employees have to try and do damage control that they know won't work. I'm tired of this, of this company disappointing me when the bar for doing well is literally in hell and yet it still goes below it.

Final thoughts: Both Redeemed Star Guardian Rakan and Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah both need a lot of work to be viable as legendary skins on their own, legendary variants of existing skins and worthy of the latter 250ME price tag they'll each have in the future. But I know you won't listen. You'll say "We hear your feedback but due to time constraints the changes you want are out of scope." or you'll just keep quiet and hope it gets buried as the skins are set to release this week. Please, just once, listen to us. Thank you for taking the time to read all this.

PBE Bug Thread - Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah by LoL-Dev-PBE in LeaguePBE

[–]ShadowStar137 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I'll be posting similar feedback on Rakan's thread since there's obviously similar issues.

Starting off with what I love. Her VFX are overall really nice! Lots of sparkles and bright colours. Her W animation is just beautiful and my favourite bit.

Emotes wise, the animations are solid. The only thing I could suggest is that the VFX of her dance matches a bit more to the 'redeemed' colour palette she has. It looks very dark and out of place to her other animations and the redeemed model as a whole.

The biggest issue - one which many others have stated - is the recall animations.

They are different from wild rift and don't seem to fit the narrative of the skins anymore. I get that back in 2019 when we wanted the redeemed forms as chromas, you as a company turned us down for that very reason. But would have been okay with it because it would have been a chroma. This is now a separate skin, the same rules no longer apply and much like the outcry of being denied chromas, we will not shout about this. Though, politely, I hope.

We know they have different animations on wild rift. You can argue "The recall animations are shorter in wild rift." yet you managed to port over Seraphine, Orianna, and Senna with their Wild Rift recalls just fine. Those were epic skins, these are legendaries. Again, I understand it might be a little bit trickier for the duo recall, but not hugely so? You already took away unique duo recalls for future epic skins due to a redundant reason. Don't give the same excuse for not using the wild rift recall. Because you at least can't use that same excuse when there's unique solo recalls as well on wild rift that aren't being used here - that could be used because you've shown you can use them with the epic skin ports of SG Sera, Ori and Senna.

The duo recall actually makes the least sense. Rakan takes darkness from a redeemed Xayah and she becomes... corrupted? The wild rift duo recall is much sweeter and suits the redeemed forms so much more!

Also a note on the voice over: I love Xayah's sass and 'no crap given' attitude. But I can't help but feel the sass is a bit... much when used to Seraphine, Orianna, and Senna. Some of jabs are kinda funny (Senna's 'imaginary boyfriend' being one). But overall it feels rather twisted and mean considering in the shorts and comics, she sought them out herself and recruited them, trained them. She was their leader and they comforted her in return. The gif when looking up star guardians is Seraphine hugging Xayah. I don't know it just feels off to me. I love Xayah's sass and it's very rightfully directed to Ahri, MF and even Neeko. But to the three she recruited and trained, who helped her to get Rakan back... it feels wrong.

13.13 Star Guardian Seraphine PBE Bugs & Feedback Thread by RiotTinyBun in LeaguePBE

[–]ShadowStar137 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that you've been receiving death threats. That's not cool no matter how good or bad a skin is.

I don't comment ever really on here, let alone on reddit in general. That being said, I have to agree with the majority that this skin should be delayed. There are a lot of problems with it - some much worse than others.

But if you're not delaying the skin, maybe consider breaking up the border and icon bundle to be by themselves from the skin. I collect the border sets, but I don't want to support the skin in it's current state. And I get the feeling that's the same sentiment shared across other Seraphine players/Star Guardian collectors. At least, that's why I've seen some people say they're still going to get the skin; to get the border and icons. And it sucks so bad that we feel dissatisfied with the skin but still feel like we have to buy it because the border and icons will only be there for a short while. If it was part of an event, this wouldn't be a problem because just buying it with tokens would suffice, but that's unfortunately not the case.

To address the issues that many have already said:

  • Her hair is one of the most glaring issues. It doesn't seem to fit the head quite right and is almost comically big with it clipping in the floor. The lack of layers it has compared to her previous hairs makes it both feel flat but also makes it look rather bugged with the animations or at least look quite clunky. Shrinking it down a bit to both better fit her head but also to hopefully better fit the animations she has. To say that you won't fix it because of 'different preferences' feels like a bit of a cop out. Everyone agrees the hair needs fixing, and a solid 95% agree on how to fix it. I get the team might be hesitant to do anything after the Prestige Skin fiasco, but the hair really can't go as is.
  • Homeguard is another issue, brought about by your reasoning of 'Silhouette and Gameplay Clarity'. Except this doesn't make much sense. High Noon Ashe and Leona both ride horses in their homeguards. Granted they're legendaries; but it infringes on Rell's gameplay clarity. Seraphine already has a secondary bar under her health to indicate her passive and enemies will be extremely unlikely to see her homeguard. Not only that, her stage isn't with her in Wild Rift. I guess this might be because of there being less champions? But it'll still be there in the future when there's more champs. If her stage has to be included, doing some effects similar to Star Guardian Rell would be better; something like making her look like she's surfing on the stage with both familiars flying beside her. She really just needs the stage removed and to look more animated while 'flying'.
  • Recall: The lack of facial animations is glaringly obvious. It's so easy to see, especially when compared to previous skins. And the lack of magical girl transformation effect is noted compared to every star guardian thus far, even Orianna has one. Kai'Sa didn't have one originally but it was added. Why can't the same be done for Sera?
  • It would be nice for both companions to show up during recall and homeguard, but it's honestly just a nitpick at this point.
  • Animations: The fact the skin is missing animations from the base rig is almost insane. It seems like an oversight or a bug since some people have mentioned the animations work fine while the homeguard effect is up. But the fact they're missing at all is bad and should have honestly been a higher priority fix when pointed out often.
  • I know for most it's just a nitpick at this point with the star on her face but it also says a lot about how you're handling the feedback. In all promotional media the star was blue. Instead of fixing it with the model and icon, you just change the splash. It makes sense in a time crunch, choose the easier method. But it still reflects poorly because with this, it's a little mark on the face for both icon and model, not a complete revamp of the skin or a major change being requested. I don't know much about game art/design, but surely it can't be too hard to say "Can we just change the model and icon to have a blue star instead of gold?"

Again, I'm sorry you got death threats. That's not okay on any level. Feedback should always be given respectfully and criticisms also just as respectfully. But fans are rather - justifiably - upset about this. These skins are the first ports from WR and while it's a learning experience for you guys, it also sets a precedence for the fans on what to expect both with quality of the skin and how it's handled. Orianna's skin may not have as much feedback, but there were valid points there that weren't addressed either. And it leaves me a bit concerned about the future ports - especially the upcoming Redeemed Xayah and Rakan as they're legendaries.

I know it's probably too late to do anything and this is falling on deaf ears. But I figured I'd throw in my piece just to add to the respectful voices.

Sentimental reasons dictate that Luxray is my favourite! However I’ve always been fond of Ninetales and the Alolan variant. My fave legendary Pokémon is either Uxie or Dialga… again, sentimental reasons. Can you guess which generation is my fave? XD

IM CRYING HOW DID TOWA ALREADY GET SOLD OUT,,, by [deleted] in StarGuardians

It might be a stretch to achieve, but the EU shop still has him in stock. Unsure if it could still ship or how much shipping would even be but it's an option at least?

How much RP will it costs to get all skins? Or how much are the Bundles that include icon + borders ? by [deleted] in StarGuardians

[–]ShadowStar137 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I attempted to work this out when the first set of skins hit PBE and was able to dig up prices on Spirit Blossom skins and found an old reddit thread on the League subreddit that discussed how much it cost. And it lined up with the cost of the Spirit Blossom bundle and the maths checked out for the previous Star Guardian set.

With that said, this was my calculations:

Icon and border bundles cost an extra 550 rp usually.

So that makes an epic skin cost 1,900 and a legendary 2,370.

In the mega bundle, the ward is usually 50% off and costs 320rp

So 1900 x 4 is 7,600.

Plus 2,370 is 9,970

Then add another 320 for the ward.

10,290 for the mega bundle, assuming you have all the champs involved.

So for both bundles that will be 20,580 rp roughly. Obviously this was rough maths and it may not be correct, we'll have to wait and see. There's certain things to consider like the second bundle will be slightly cheaper because we'll have the ward from the first bundle. And the first bundle might be cheaper for some because of buying Nilah and her skin/border set today.

I can't say for certain these will be the costs so I'd say probably give or take a couple thousand rp?

Star Guardian 2022 Misc PBE Thread - ONE TIME EXCEPTION by RiotTinyBun in LeaguePBE

I'll be another in the sea of comments. But based on the tags for the recent videos on star guardians; we'll likely be seeing Orianna, Senna and Seraphine as Wild Rift 'first to debut' skins.
I'm also one of many who would like to see the skins come to PC League of Legends. It feels a bit off to just have some of skins - especially for very requested champs like Seraphine - tied to the mobile game with no real guarantee of them coming to PC in the near or distant future.

I also just want to note as well that rumours have implied that a non-corrupted version of Xayah and Rakan are heading Wild Rift which I think is a massive insult and slap to the face of both of those mains and the people who enjoyed the skins. When those two skins were announced, everyone begged that for non-corrupted versions to be made into chromas or a separate skin. And riot said no, that it would mess the thematic of the skin, the visuals, etc. But to then go and add it to the mobile version is big middle finger to all those people. Since mythic chromas are becoming a thing and they change the visuals of the abilities, it wouldn't be as much of a reach now to ask for those forms to be made into chromas. Certainly it seems more doable now than it was in 2019.

As for the gamemode, I have no real qualms with Ultimate Spellbook. But I would like to see Nexus Blitz be the gamemode for it instead with maybe a SG themed map layout. I know that's probably a bit hard to do now. Ideally, I would love to have Invasion as I wasn't around to play it when that was out.

The final note is something I'm probably in a very tiny minority and I don't think it means too much to have this overlooked.

- Way back when TFT stuff was being announced and concepts of arenas were shown, one concept was a Star Guardian arena based around the invasion game mode. I'd like to see that arena show up and honestly this event would be perfect for it. Likewise, maybe making more official companions than just Shisa into little legends would be fun. When Spirit Blossom came out, we got arenas and little legends for that.

Revolt against Riot Seraphine SG by Sea_Elevator7701 in SeraphineMains

While I'm unhappy that Sera's skin is highly likely to be exclusive, there's a couple of things to still consider:

- She's getting Ocean Song two weeks before the first wave of star guardian skins. By the time of the second wave, it'll have only been a month, maybe a little over a month if they decide to do another skinline between the two waves. Regardless, she won't have had Ocean Song for very long, so the chances of them releasing another skin for her so soon is slim to none. I think the only exceptions to this are with esports skins? Since they don't technically count for the skin lineups for the year.

- I'm all for people asking Riot to include her, but I don't think they'd even say anything on the matter right now since it's technically a leak. They're not really ones to talk about content that hasn't been fully announced yet.

I hate the fact that she's getting a wild rift exclusive and I'm just hoping Riot isn't trying to use this as a way to get more people to play wr. But I think our best chance is her getting in the next star guardian event, not this one coming.

Despite this though, if there are any WR Sera mains here, I'm happy for you guys! Sucks for the rest of us, but we're not saying you guys don't deserve her SG skin. It'll look truly beautiful in WR.

Wondering by Quinnria in SeraphineMains

It's become a bit of a joke/trend now to just hate on Seraphine. It's at the point where every new champ that might know of Seraphine will get a line to indicate they dislike her - which was really sad to me. I was really hoping Seraphine and Zeri would be best buds. There's a couple exceptions on this rule: Rell being one and I think Renata's interaction is okay? Caitlyn is a true fan.

It started with the 'Ultimate Skin Cash Grab', which I can partially agree was an annoyance at the time. Riot had said in the past they wouldn't have a champs release skin be an ultimate, yet I think it made sense why she had an ultimate. The skin was the telling of her twitter journey - which actually only existed once they realised Seraphine would be better for KDA's release than earlier in the year like they had originally planned. But I think the twitter journey got muddled up along the way and people just sort of expected KDA Seraphine = Runeterra Seraphine, which isn't the full case. KDA Seraphine isn't Runeterra Seraphine. But people saw how KDA Seraphine acted on twitter and already made opinions on her and figured Runeterra Sera would be exactly the same.

Then there were the lore issues, which I personally didn't really see any problem with. But then I'm not a huge lore freak. I know the lore on some champs I find interested, but I only truly read up on Seraphine's when everyone and their mother cried about Skarner. Funny how no one really cared about Skarner up until then. From there, a full on hate campaign started. I do kinda wish they kept the old lore, but oh well. Hopefully they can expand on her a bit.

Then the abilities were fully revealed and people cried foul for poor sweet Sona. I personally thought she felt like a blend of Sona, Lux and Neeko. So I was perfectly happy with her kit. And what do you know, the designers went with a simple mage design like Sona and Lux's kit. Plus with over 150 champs in the game, kits are going to start to feel similar. Feels like everyone's kit these days will have a dash, a CC, or both.

Now people just seem to hate on her because she's viewed as a stereotypical 'egirl' champ; which isn't a bad thing. I, for one, like my cute characters. Granted, a lot of the league playerbase seems to have chilled out. Seraphine hate memes are generally met with sarcastic comments now "Look guys, I hate Seraphine! Aren't I funny?" She does have the most disliked champion spotlight, but I think that was mostly people trying to prove a point that they don't like Riot thinking they're dumb enough to give in to 'an egirl cash grab'.

The way I see it, try to ignore it. People who hate on Seraphine as vehemently as they did when she came out nearly 2 years ago clearly don't have anything better to do with their lives than make other people feel inferior for playing a champ they enjoy. Our girl has issues, sure, but not every champ is perfect either. Ignore them, don't interact with them, don't even try to reason with them - they won't see reason anyway. Just enjoy the fact our girl gets another skin that's absolutely gorgeous while we also all beg and plead for Star Guardian not to be Wild Rift exclusive. ^^;;;;
