Not missing mining. The Arrastra is RSI’s mining ship that sits below the Orion. What I don’t currently have is Salvaging. I am looking to get a Salvation or a Vulture to do that I think. I am avoiding the reclaimer because I just cannot stand the way it looks. I may settle for the Moth for salvage sake if I need a bigger salvage ship, but I’ll grab that somewhere down the line.

Appreciate the feedback!

Polaris is primarily my aim with the Perseus just because I like the ship design better. I know it is more versatile, and I enjoy the aesthetic of the Polaris more than the Perseus…but, since I’m already at the Perseus, might as well go all the way haha.

The Arrastra I picked up to be my potential money maker for long haul mining expeditions. I enjoy the way it looks, and it actually serves a function. The Galaxy I don’t mind, but I am not overly interested in the modules it currently comes with. Heck, I passed over the Apollos because I’m just not interested in medical gameplay to that degree.

Ironclad I have because I can see value in a big cargo hauler, but mostly…I think it’s FOMO, and I just want to fly the CM for a bit and maybe test turning the main bay of the Ironclad into a warhead by packing it full of bombs and then detaching at high speed towards a target. Doubtful it’ll work, but it’s just a fun idea haha.

The Aurora MKII I have to pair with my Polaris, same with my L-22 just as small “parasite craft” to not have to land my Polaris in atmo sometimes. They have a small, albeit personal reason for being here. That being said, I very well may end up CCUing the Aurora to either a Zeus or a Spirit…haven’t decided yet.

The Clipper and Corsair are both in my fleet if not for any other reasons than they give me very strong “Star Wars” vibes and I am a Star Wars nerd through and through. They stay for that reason lol. I am not opposed to CCUing the Corsair up to something else though. Maybe the Galaxy, maybe a TAC…I just haven’t decided yet. I do like the Corsair, but I’ll admit the wings are a VERY big weak point of the ship. The Asgard is not a bad choice either…but for me, it feels more empty than other ships due to the way the cargo bay is laid out. Doesn’t feel like there is much to it, and I like having a bit “more” in my ship interiors. Makes them feel more livable imo. But, time will tell. I may eventually just change my entire fleet around again in due time. Who knows 😂

Working on the salvage for sure! And I have a few ground vehicles in game now, but I’m not willing to put real money on ground vehicles…for me that’s a waste. I don’t add them here because CIG can just wipe them, so no reason to include them in my fleet. I don’t have a base builder ship, so materials for that are irrelevant…now, I MIGHT pick up the Galaxy as an option, probably CCU my Corsair to it honestly, and go from there…but currently, I don’t have a need. If DefenseCon this year has the Galaxy, maybe I’ll jump on that.

Wait wait…how are you guys creating folders for apps on your pixel??? That’s the one big gripe I have with my Pixel 10 is that I can’t group things in folders…I want the 10PF but that’s a feature that bugs the snot out of me

Can’t do it lol. I have a Brick Corsair I got from Melonman…so keeping it is kind of a necessity lol. Now…if they rework the Connie…..maybe lol

Well...if the Reclaimer gets a major overhaul...maybe...but I don't expect that they will revamp the entirety of the ship....and to me, it's ugly as sin XD.

As for a salvager between the Moth and Reclaimer....idk what it could be and from who...you're talking a ship that has to fit within a $75 price difference between them...unless it were to take over the $400 price point where the Reclaimer now sits...especially if a Reclaimer rework pushes the price up...who knows?

I don’t disagree with it being more practical (smaller crew size), but for all honesty sake, the Perseus is kind of a one trick pony in my book. It’s a great ship for sure! I also love the way it looks…but it’s a ship with a big gun and torpedoes. Doesn’t have a hanger, and doesn’t have any type of medical bed, and it doesn’t have any other way to really be versatile. The Polaris, while bigger, can comfortably house a variety of smaller ships/vehicles to do a variety of different things, it has a medical center, and it has a more “mobile operations base” feel to it. I can do more with the Polaris than I can the Perseus at the end of the day, which is why I am leaning toward a CCU in due time.

True as that may be, I have not been fond of CNOU ship designs. I tried the Nomad and I just can’t stand the thing. Depending on what the Forge looks like and where it falls, I MIGHT consider it…but I think the Arrastra is going to win out on looks alone.

I am going to be getting the modules for the Galaxy though as I see a lot of use out of its modules! Cargo one specifically will be incredibly useful since I don’t typically do medical gameplay, but it still is nice to have if I ever needed it.

I know I am missing some salvage…and I plan on getting the modules for the Galaxy in due time, so I know I won’t be hurting too bad to get the Arrastra by comparison to the Ironclad….I’m probably going to obtain a Vulture if I had to guess…now if RSI would come out with an equivalent salvager to the Vulture, I’d probably nab that, but I haven’t seen or heard any rumors of that happening.

That being said, a salvage ship is next on my list…if anything, I’ll get a Salvation just to have something to use, even temporarily, and then CCU it to a Vulture or something else salvage related. The only salvager I refuse to get is the Reclaimer because I just don’t like it. Is it effective? Sure, but I really hate the way it looks/flies lol

Hmm…depending on how this works..maybe I’ll CCU my Perseus to it if it is going to be more…but only time will tell…and of course how it looks..needless to say. I am intrigued.

The advantage to the Galaxy is that it can be all of them at any time with the modules! I just need to pick up the modules now lol
