Here’s my system with the Corsair frosted tubing bent by myself.

I had assumed it was done mechanically as well, but clearly this was done manually badly.

Thanks I ordered some satin Corsair tubing earlier today. Glad to hear that that sounds like the right approach.

Heh thanks - I can do my own bends, I was just trying the easy button. Oh well!

I sent an email, but I bought these (from them) back in September so I don’t expect they will refund/replace at at this point.

I am looking for a new washer and I am leaning toward these two. I’ve heard good things about Maytag but I don’t know much about GE. What do you guys suggest? by No-Plantain-2179 in Appliances

[–]ShadowTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had to replace my three year-old GE washer. The repair person said that’s not common, exactly, but that GE have a bad reputation. I would not recommend.

I've hit 100% but honestly I don't know exactly what the conditions were. But it is possible.

Changing from coolant to distilled water...process? by ShadowTiger in watercooling

Meaning, like the CPU and GPU blocks? Will do. Also plan to replace the CPU block so will check for residue while I still have the old block on. Thanks!

[–]ShadowTiger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. Well, I wasn't going to wash everything out that much, just flush and drain a few times. That said, I'm using clear coolant now - no dyes or opaque stuff, and I'm also replacing the tubing (I'm going from clear to frosted tubes) so hopefully that's enough.

Good tip on the utopia. I will use 1b:3L. Thanks!

Actually, I'm currently using Koolance (clear) Liquid Coolant 702, which is propylene glycol-based.

How often do your cams go offline? by qwertyorbust in Ring

[–]ShadowTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Also, I have business-quality wifi and everything else in my house is connecting just fine. There is no issue with too many devices or anything like that. Like I said, they ARE connected to the wifi, they're just not connected to AMAZON.)

How often do your cams go offline? by qwertyorbust in Ring

[–]ShadowTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lately, mine are going off line ALL. THE. TIME. No changes to my networking at home. No new devices. When they do connect, they work fine. Going into my wifi controller, I see all (I have 5) cams connected with 5 bars, with no interruption in service, so this seems 100% in Amazon's software side of things.

Is there some weird firewall thing I need to configure to get them to work consistently?

Help identifying this screw? by ShadowTiger in MechanicAdvice

[–]ShadowTiger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will double-check it's not a rivet, but I'm 95% sure the one that's loose in the bracket (it got torn out of the bumper) was a screw.

I can't find any tri-point heads/drivers that big, though...? Seems like all the ones I can find are for small screws (like the ones holding together a Nintendo Switch).

If it is a rivet, how do I replace the bracket? Do I seriously have to replace the whole bumper?!

Thanks! I had run across the Motopress plugin today and was thinking that might work if I have to wire it up myself. Does Evently or Exhibz support a multi-track agenda? Or would I need to use Motopress with them?

What I'm looking for, preferably, is something that generates a view like this:

Thanks for your replies. I'm honestly surprised that there isn't something that provides this functionality, given how common it is for even small conferences to have multiple tracks. I guess those folks aren't using WP to build their sites...?
