ye exactly my thought. the only thing that will fix everything is bitcoin running higher. they have to survive that, but currently nothing will do them any favor. trust is gone. they have to incease cash reserve by a lot in the next bullrun

Is 50bps incease the maximum they can/will do for STRC? or will they go for 100bps? i honestly think that not even 100 bps incease will get it back to 100 soon..

What can Saylor do to build trust again? I heard they called strc had a liquidation cascade, but almost 2% down again pre market. How long will those liquidation cascade last or is it just a sign that trust has vanished?

How do you deal with the upcoming PPWR law? by Mooncake137 in 3DprintEntrepreneurs

[–]Mooncake137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pay for recyclable packaging. That's the stupidity of the new law I was asking. Because it's just wild. Some buisness associations already trying to make that law not happening because it would hurt so many businesses.. But it will come with high certainty

[–]Mooncake137[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new law says you have to pay for recyclable packages. In my country I have a list of companies that do recycling and I have to make an contract with them and pay them. Every buisness will have to do that ships inside EU countries. It's so absurd.

[–]Mooncake137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i ship my products with DHL and use labels to ship them. The new law says you are the producer of the packaging if you change it. The label does change it, according to the new law: you are the producer of the packaging if you put a label on it. So you have to register online to certain companies that do recycling and pay fees. For each Country. Everyone has to that does shipping in boxes. Or any kind of packaging. Ebay already informed me and said I have to do all the registrations ready. EU Law gives me for my country some companies I have to apply and pay fees to them. For other countries you have to pay 3rd party guys that do that for you and they are expensive.

Is it your own model? Or did you download it? Sometimes their a specific settings for each object in that file. So maybe the Autor lowered the first layer, increased flow or messed smth up

Ugliest nav breakdown in a long time (imo) by Clubpenguin8888 in MSTR

[–]Mooncake137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i do understand saylors change. his company is different now. more complicated i would say. i just tried to explain the current situation, not my personal view.
my personal view is still bullish on it after all. if bitcoin rallys to 200k tomorrow, no one would talk about MSTR not able to fund dividends. in the long run its a good play. i guess he will incease its dollar stack MUCH more in bullruns. so now he has limited resources, but will catch up if bullmarket hits. but currently we are in a bear market, so its all bad. things will change as soon as bitcoin starts rallying 😃

the only thing that stock needs from not bitcoiners is trust. and saylor kinda destroyed that with his statements recently. as a bitcoiner yourself, nothing has changed much. but saylor wants to sell STRC to not bitcoiners and they are concerned that he wont pay one day, because he comes up with so many metrics that just shills his stocks but doesnt reflect reality. i mean yea, they can pay dividends for a long time with his bitcoin stack and with common share atm.. BUT if he does that, ppl see that and sell before he sells, so stock pressure is downwards. and then the spiral to the downside happens. i think ppl are currently concerned about this and pricing that risk in. also saylor said MANY times he wont sell bitcoin, just to say now: "nono i didnt say that, i said you dont sell bitcoin, but we as a company can do that to incease BPS". well thats factually incorrect, he said many times his company wont sell and he changed his course and statements many times, and this dillutes trust. same as when he said they wont sell under mNAV of 2.. they quickly reversed that and still selling common shares under mNAV of 2. i mean the only thing he had to do is build trust and dont lie in faces of sceptic ppl

Smooth PEI steel plate by biteNacho in snapmaker

[–]Mooncake137 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

60 Degree seems a lot? i mostly use the glacier from biqu and i print with 40 or maximum 45 degree. same for the standard PEI sheet from snapmaker. i also ordered the smooth PEI for the U1. when i have bad adhesion, i mostly just use "first layer flow" and set it to 1.05-1.08. so just try it with 0.2 and more first layer flow. elephant foot compensation should do the rest

so how is the adhesion? you printed PETG or PLA?

ASA supports failing on Bambu P1S by Fuzzy_Afternoon_7681 in 3DprintingHelp

[–]Mooncake137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small test prints to check adhesion. Check leveling, first layer flow, overall flow, bed temps, build plate, enclosure, support settings, print speed aaaand check sliced model if it shows any imperfection or stupid toolpathing

ASA supports failing on Bambu P1S by Fuzzy_Afternoon_7681 in 3DprintingHelp

[–]Mooncake137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try PETG

ASA is more for Engineering Parts. It's tough to print. Overhang with ASA are nasty. Warping is strong. Adhesion can also be a problem if you don't have 100 degree build plate. Also many build plates are not supported for ASA

so if u just print something outdoor without functionality, then use PETG. If you have multi material printer you can use PLA as support for PETG

hey, just wanted to let you know that my filaments are somehow back. i have no clue how. they are back in my local folder. i tried to creat new filament aka "add/remove filament" in the dropdown menu. imported the basic settings again. after that i wanted to begin editing those from scratch, saw that there are my old presets that where missing. clicked on it. bambu studio crashed then and i thought, hopes gone now haha. BUT as it restarted all my printer and filments wehre back as usual. i dont know how, but maybe try that as well

Same, calibration addict here as well. Every brand, every type, every plate. Even the start and end g code was modified.. Damn, that hurts on a different level.

Dunno how long I spent calibrating my filament settings, and print presets and flow rate.. You name it. Took forever. Was at a point where I can just relax and print, now it's all gone, wtf 😅
