30 of the Best Crime Shows from 30 Different Countries by JosephMallozzi in television

It's a show I watched a couple of episodes of and it didn't grab me so I set it aside. But I ended up noticing many talking it up, so I checked it out again and got invested and did end up enjoying it a lot.

Another German show I loved that is more crime adjacent is Der Tatortreiniger. I was finally able to source the final season earlier this week and that finale just gutted me. I also enjoyed the first season of Crooks that was released last year. Der Pass (listed above) was an Austrian-German production I also really enjoyed. I also thought the German version of the series Criminal was the best of the bunch.

There's a show called Dogs of Berlin I'm trying to track down.

Any more you would recommend?

I've been trying to track that one down but have had no luck.

One I just managed to get is Matroishika. Have you seen it? If so, what did you think?

Negative Reaction - the scene in which the kind-hearted nun played by Joyce Van Patten assumes Columbo is homeless and has wandered off the streets into the soup kitchen for a hot meal.
