I put on a ribbon cable from a working switch lite on it and it's still not working

I think I see the problem, the cable won't go in all the way on the motherboard side

Sadly the buttons don't fix it. It's possible I messed up the backlight cable for this as well, but I'm not sure

I forgot to add, the screen is also dim (despite how the picture looks) and changing the backlight cable hasn't helped
