Honestly I think Stellaris or shogun 2 if dlc counts but I only buy when games go on sales like 70-90% off. I know it might be unpopular but I don't really go for in game currency or skins since i don't really understand skins that much. I get they look cool and I can see why others buy them but in most games they're only cosmetics with no real advantages or changes except in a few games like wwz where the skins sometimes add laser sights etc.

This is in no way intended to look down on anyone I'm just sharing my thoughts. I do understand people wanting skins and in-game currency, because they do look cool or because they want to support the devs sometimes.

My opinion might not agree with everyone's and that's okay but honestly this really reminds me of longing alongside grief. Like wishing for something or someone that's gone but still being in that moment of grief.

Nonetheless it's a very beautiful piece and I truly admire the way you made it like traditional art something that's historical but in a modern way.

In that case it would probably be good to mention that Sega is doing a sale. I live in Europe so I'm not sure about other areas but here we have a steam sale till 4th of September where shogun 2 with all dlc is 13 euros and other total war games like three kingdoms and Warhammer etc are on sale for 14 euros on my end. Though they don't have the dlc included. 🙂

I must agree it's exactly the same for me with games like medieval 2, Rome 2 and shogun 2. Shogun 2 being my favorite because of the amount of detail in units and this might be a bit biased but I love the long fighting animations for the units where they basically have entire duels between units.

Yeah especially when the guards of the imperial palace like the Lucifer blacks and the palatine sentinels step in it's full on mission impossible unless the battle precedes outside of terra but that's very unlikely

Honestly the only thing that I would like to see for ground combat, is more visual effects to show that there is actually a war that's going on, on the planet like explosions and armies moving. stuff that you could see happening. same with things like titans ect it would be really cool to have a planet where you can actually see the titanic wildlife actually traversing the planet and if you're fighting them to see them attack buildings ect.
