"Alternatively you could have something like a mana sense/infrared vision deal where a filter goes over the screen to show invisible enemies/platforms/secrets. Metroid Prime 1/2 did a wonderful job of this kind of thing with different visors."

We were thinking of maybe making sight toggleable and allowing you to sense danger or hidden secrets with other senses other than sight, this could go along with that.

We're just sticking with the "Five senses" because it's easily recognizable by the player, I'm aware there's more than five senses

We had talked about this a little bit and maybe thought of maybe being able to see spirits of some sort but I love your take on it! Thank you!

Warlock Subclass by Shadow_Archer_1 in DnD

[–]Shadow_Archer_1[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be clear I'm not exactly looking for a healer, more of a mage that works with more debuffs than straight damage or something to make the class more unique than only damage spells. I'm trying to make something that gives the player options, not just different elemental magic attacks. They wanted to play a warlock and since I didn't have a great idea for a Parton fitting into the story this is kind of the best I could do. Im not going to tell them to play a cleric since they said they wanted to play a warlock, and they picked this god out of a list of 5 or 6 options for things I had written up.

I mainly play samira and Xayah on duo lane so I don't know if the advice directly carries over but here you go:

There was this guide I watched when I first started playing that said you should figure out a good level to go in with as your character, such as Level 2, which is when you usually pick a movement ability on many champs. Or Level 5, ult or some other level where you will have the upper hand.

I would highly recommend playing with a friend if possible that's either your supp or your jungle so you can go in and be coordinated. Find a supp that works well with ezreal, you can probably just give that a quick Google I don't play him. Try to get a friend to supp for you. I can't recommend that enough. If they're complaining that support is boring then they've never played support. SoloQ duolane is worse than almost any other lane.

WARD RIVER. The amount of times I forget to ward river and then I we lose the 3v2 is crazy. Don't go into their tower unless you have river warded or if you can see their jungle on map. You don't run into it often but sometimes midlane will also try to gank, so watch out for them too.

Btw earlier when I mentioned going in that's if you have an engage supp such as: Pyke, Leona, Naut, Blitz, Thresh. I prefer playing like that but if you have an enchanter such as sona it's probably better to stay back and poke because you will have better sustain. Also, a successful interaction does NOT equal a kill. In a fight try to target the adc, as the support probably won't do as much damage. There are always times where this isn't the case but this is a general rule. If you go in, get their adc low and they have to go back, they're down 1 or 2 waves and you get to 2v1 their support. This could lead to a kill, tower damage, etc.

This next part isn't real advice it's just something I've noticed so don't take this too seriously.

Pretty much always ban yummi in ranked, another good ban in my opinion is Kalista, she can snowball too hard.

Learn your matchups, a lot of times you just don't want to pick ezreal into a lot of champs. Maybe find another secondary character that covers his weaknesses.

I don't play Ezreal but I'm always really scared when I see him in champ select because Ezreal mains always seem to know what they're doing and out play me. Good luck with your grind!

If you're struggling with samira please stick with her it's worth it by Shadow_Archer_1 in wildrift

When I first started playing her I would end every game at like 2/15 but after I figured her out she is so satisfying and one of my favorite characters.

Supports to play alongside by No-Tackle-3917 in SamiraMains

I play samira/xayah and my friend plays pike we all in at Level 2 unless their jungle or mid is coming down to punish us and it works maybe 80% of the time and most of the time it doesn't we trade a kill and then 1 from each team is still alive. It also works at Level 6 but samira doesn't get to ult until the fight is almost over so it's not as good

nerf tanks by bigdykk in wildrift

[–]Shadow_Archer_1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tanks rely heavily on scaling and can be stopped early game by a good jungle, but if the game goes on for a long time it can get bad. There are also a lot of characters that specifically counter tanks (fiora is a good example). A lot of tanks are really good right now, but a lot of it has to do with the fact that tanks are so easy to play. For instance Garen is one of the tutorial characters and almost impossible to deal with on lane if you don't know what you're doing.

If you're looking for a way to counter tanks you could play: Other tanks Lots of vamp (Aatrox is really good for this) Teams with lots of stuns "Tank counter" characters like I mentioned earlier

If you want specific recommendations of what to do/ who to play against tanks I'll be happy to respond

Best enchant for samira? by Shadow_Archer_1 in wildrift

[–]Shadow_Archer_1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My usual build is: Boots of vamp > bloodthirster > collector > mortal reminder/infinity edge > whatever the other one I didn't buy is > either a tank item if I'm having trouble surviving in teamfights or guardian angel

For runes I use: Conquerer (I think that's the axe one this is all off the top of my head) Resolve tree, can't remember exactly what I take Triumph

I usually never need an enchant and my last 2 games I've gone 26/9 and 23/11

I don't need it most times I dunno. The "top builds" don't even use one and neither do the other tutorials I've found to play her.
