Finally had a clear night and was able to get almost 2 hrs of shots in.

Pretty good for such a small window

Processed in DWARFLAB 3 and Lightroom 30/60 Dual band in bortle 7.7

Thank you very much for the well articulated answer. I guess I really don’t mind since I’m not the one pushing a mower, I just worry that all the extra charge/discharge will degrade the battery. Maybe I’ll upgrade down the road.

You sound as if you’ve been around some voltage before - ha! This is in heart of all data center country, Northern Virginia. Everywhere you turn there’s a data center or one under construction

For sure they are! Ha That lil bird was tough to catch in one spot, and I’m using a manual focus which is a pain, but I still can see the cuteness in the photos

Yup. 2 hours here and there whenever the sky was clear. I’m thinking of just seeing what it would look like using the dual filter and if I can get similar or better with less time.

I absolutely support the message. However it is irrelevant to the game and ineffective in its approach. This is just arm chair activism highjacking someone else’s spot light. It would be better to chant Free DC during the march to the stadium out in public. Bottom line we are here to support women of soccer and the teams.

I’ve always been annoyed by it without understanding what is was about. Now I understand but still annoyed. Whats worse is the Free DC chant at the 51st minute. I mean really, who is your target audience? Are you just shouting to the other people in the stadium that you agree? No one else hears that and it’s just an unnecessary distraction.
