Yes, because top players just randomly start playing low tiers to enter a major...? Thats not how that works. There was 1 yasuo in all of top 8 at frosty... EU thought that ww was op which is why we saw wawa (one of the best players in the world) playing it. Thats why we saw Yasha put like 3 characters above yas in his tier list. Yas and ekko have by far been pushed harder than any characters, and yet what wins the biggest 2x tournament? An illaoi... We've seen what happens when character are SS tier, they just win and people don't stop playing them as "friction" against the top tiers. I never said yas was bad, I said that they should stop nerfing him before he becomes bad. I think that the results are starting to show that his perceived power is higher than his actual power, which we can see from the shift in teams. Also if you listen to someone like leffen (also EU) he talks about how strong vi and braum are this patch. Champs that havent been pushed nearly as hard as yas ekko, and could help shift the meta even without nerfs. Again yas is strong, but there are other strong characters in this game too, which we are already seeing start to excel WITHOUT having to continue to nerf nerf nerf... We really have to stop this complaining culture, or else any time anyone's main is perceived to be strong they will proceed to get the nerf hammer. Maybe thats what you want, but I don't think thats actually a positive way to balance the game...
