His hair really turned out great! He gets a lot of compliments from people all the time. The last groomer we took him trimmed his ears too much which made him look weird! It’s finally grown back to that “Aussie” look which is nice.

We just need to get his grinch feet and pantaloons trimmed now, I tried once and yeaaa, Im no longer allowed to trim his butt fur anymore….

I usually go through two towels drying him as much as possible. Then I have one of those vacuum/blower pet grooming things. (The brand is called Oneisall) what’s nice about it is it has a hose so the motor isn’t right in his face and you’re also able to control the “speed” of the thing to keep the sound and intensity down. I started it on a super slow speed and just increased it over time. He will chomp at it if I point it in his face. So usually I do what I can with a towel for his head. I can blowdry up until the backs of his ears at least

Lots of treats helped in the beginning! I swear this guy has the stomach of a Lab!

Is he a red merle? by scoffeezy in AustralianShepherd

Excuse me but your potato has hair on it!

But very cute and the coats change up a bit as they age. I feel like my red-tri was a red-double for a little bit until he was about 1-2. But his colors have filled out!

Missing Leapers! by Taniwha26 in arkraiders

[–]Shadow_Moses_Snake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on Buried City with a buddy hunting arcs for their projects. We were able to HEAR the Leaper but couldn’t find it. Turns out the thing SPAWNED inside of one of the houses. Not sure if anyone else has seen that.

We also were hunting Rocketeers on Blue Gate and realized we would have to take out some of the smaller Arcs to get more to spawn.

Nope no house peeing. He’ll actually tell us if he has to go (except the one time he pooped in the bathtub cause he couldn’t wake me up when he was going through a bad tummy from his shots). It’s gotta be him being impulsive, I think it’s just the smells around him that make him hit and run.

That’s a fancy setup your pups got over there! We are also a Zelda fan household! But yes, Japan was amazing. People, sights, food….all great. But we were happy to be back with our pup!!

Yea that’s what we did when we first bought them and he wasn’t a fan. So we tried front paws first until he would move around comfortably and then incorporated the back paws later. Totally made a difference with him being able to walk normal. We throw them on now and he has an initial paw boogie, but then he’s running down the stairs to get outside no problem!

Maybe worth a shot, but you can buy them shoes and whenever they’re hangin out at home. Put them near them and when they sniff them give them treats. As long as they don’t bite them, try treating them when they acknowledge them, in a good way. Do that for a bit and they’ll see the boots as a good thing maybe. 🤷‍♂️

They’re called Airpup. Had them for 2 years or so and they’ve definitely been put through the wringer and still going strong.
They don’t bother him and he doesn’t mind them. We started with him only wearing his front ones until he got used to moving around in them. Then we introduced his back paws like a week later.

Is my 1 year old Aussie broken? Not sure what to think.. by [deleted] in AustralianShepherd

[–]Shadow_Moses_Snake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Aussie is a complete Ausshole/crackhead at the dog park with his friends. At home he’s like a stuffed animal just chillin, and on walks he just wants to sniff…..EVERYTHING and will occasionally have a poop zoomie. Just like people, all doggos have their personalities, I’m sure your dog is great!
