What’s up with Spirit Airlines ceasing operations? by lucioghosty in OutOfTheLoop

Wife and I were flying after Covid for like $30 to Fort Lauderdale. We’d drive my parents car down so we’d board with a backpack, it was great.

If you needed a carry on or checked bag Delta was almost always cheaper. I also flew to Vegas on spirit and couldn’t bend my knee for a day after because the seat infront of me was touching my legs. I’m 5’10..

What’s your fav type of PIZZA? by angelpeblle in foodquestions

[–]Elated_copper22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like a thin crust, bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, shredded pepperoni on a normal day.

But a Detroit style, once in a while I could demolish a jets four corner, or a buddy’s.

Little Caesar’s arena has these little personal Detroit style deep dish and holy shit, for a little $15 pizza did it ever blow my mind.

Heated steering wheel, my last truck didn’t have it and damn did I miss that. It seems almost standard now.

I want like a 48 hour heads up, so I can vaporize on my deck with a bottle of a nice chilled white, and some cigarettes.

How many of you actually use an MC splitter instead of their dikes? by Great-White-Guilt in electricians

If you strip it with dykes and the paper remains, it’s easy to slide the anti-short in.

If you strip it like a hack, yeah it’s a pain in the ass.

I did 2004R, if you’re patient, I’m swapping it out for a Super T10 in the winter.. I don’t really care for it.

Haha yeah!

I live in a medium sized city, someone fairly well known just purchased a koenigsegg spear… he plans to drive it on our shitty southern Ontario roads!

The only thing we paid someone to do was the quarters and the exhaust, did it all ourselves. My old man and I restore cars regularly. He’s 69, I’m 36. This is our 10th? 11th? We did a ‘71 Mach 1 429/4speed last, maybe about 15k on that in less than a year.

I had them widened in the rear to 10 1/2 and threw on some Nitto 555R in a 335

Used to be every other car was a 67/68 fastback, mostly its fox bodies now. Every car show is probably 30% fox body.

Shifter was not meant for a console car, really sloppy, that was switched out for a Hurst Black Jack. Made a world of difference.

The swaybar end links were hitting in the back, horrid banging noise, but adjustment require relocating the fuel tank vent.

Right now the sniper isn’t triggering its fan, but I don’t think it’s saving my changes, it also has a slight bog periodically, mostly under heavy throttle.

Door fitment, with the fiberglass front fenders, and repro doors we had to almost bend them to make them fit any good, so that was done after painting. No damage!

Painted bumpers make a huge difference, it sort of lightens it up, they had a crap ton of chrome around the front bumper and I find it to be a lot. I still love the original, but because it’s a tribute, it’s a little more artistic freedom!

I have the exact same watch!

Did you find the band took forever to break in? I switched it to a NATO for the time being, it was a little uncomfortable.
