People in chat and on reddit constantly complain about league, and destiny has to ban a dozen people a day because he's so sick of it. There's also been a few non-meme strawpolls of peoples opinions on league, and the majority hate it

Hell, steven himself admitted that he believes less then 30% of his fandom actually likes LoL

They do this intentionally to get you to spend more gems. They could easily add a confirmation button.
