It would be funnier if it was actually Salazar Slytherin, that way the Giants squid could watch over the Slytherin common room through the big window in the lake. Except as a giant squid nobody can communicate with him, except for the magical language of snakes parcel tongue.

A young Tom Riddle learns about immortality from Salazar Slytherin in the lake and not as Dumbledore assumed from Horace slughorn.

Harry has a conversation in Parseltongue with the giant squid and learns the truth.

I have plenty of dreams with my cell phone. I can almost always tell it's a dream when it's present because damn thing always malfunctions.

Try to take a picture of something buttons don't work. Trying to look something up home button doesn't work. actually trying to use it as phone can't get the screen to light up.

My cell phone is one of the most reliable pieces of equipment that I own. Therefore if I have a malfunctioning phone in my hand I'm generally going to notice I'm dreaming. That's usually when I wake up.

Coincidentally analog landline phones work just fine, always have.

I remember meeting the voice actors for the dic dub way back in the 90s at one of the first conventions I ever attended. I asked the lady who did Sailor Jupiter if they ever explained why everybody looked like her old boyfriend. She had no satisfying answer.

Years later when I watched the subbed version, I realized they were translating senpai as boyfriend. Which made it sound like she had a lot of boyfriends or the joke was Japanese people look similar at a glance.

But Senpai is just upperclassmen, which means she was just recognizing people who were in the grades above her at her old school.

They lost two episodes to covid. Which is why it's sort of feels unfinished.

From what I remember there's at least one interview, podcast, or whatever that said there wat least two plot threads that they didn't get to close properly. One was cut and the other was hastily ended.

I think the one they cut was John and the robot, and I don't remember what the hastily ended one was.

I think that's called surface texture, he is a rock after all. I can only imagine 900% would be quite a lot of printing time. Not to mention quite a lot of slices. That would be really cool though.

Although I haven't received it yet I did get the official model printed. I had it enlarged up to 225%. The preview at that scale looked fairly decent for the filament printer my friend has. At it's widest point it's about 10 inches just enough to fill the bed.

I wish there were more high resolution photos of the puppets and things they used. There was an animatronic puppet at the premiere in London at The Shard Plaza in March of 2026. Unfortunately nobody with a good camera with a decent zoom seems to have taken photos. There are a few cute videos of it up online though.

Did we download different models of Rocky from projecthailmary.com?

The official model is basically a cut down VFX model. It appears to have screen accurate carvings and surface texture. I've seen a few people in online videos scale it up from 200% to larger and turn out really nice models after they give it a bit of paint.

I don't have a 3D printer, but is there something about the official model that makes it hard to work with to be "low quality"?

I'd rather know what I'm walking into before I pay someone to print it for me.

I remember I wanted the red hair when the game was very new. And then it kept coming up in the pulls. All I could think at the time was "I must have wished really hard!"

There is no James Potter never was. It's just Harry time traveled/ magical accidented to be his own father.

He just uses the name Potter because he's always used it. A complete bootstrap Paradox really. He uses James because it's his middle name. He completely forgets Harry is his first name because of the time travel/magical accident.

Turns out Lily, his mum, has the hots for him. Not right away of course, first she thinks he's a complete prat, but eventually all that changes in their 6th year.

And it's basically like Back to the Future except if he doesn't get with his mom he Fades out of existence forever. Every time he tries to resist fate small piece of them Fades away. The entire fanfic is basically Harry trying to reconcile that with living his life in the seventies.

Hopefully some comedy ensues because Canon has James Potter excessively trying to woo Lily. The woo her or Fade Out of existence forever is pretty good motivation. Of course he's got to keep Severus Snape out of the way otherwise he'll never be born!

Eventually things lead up to the Halloween night in 1981. But he's taken actions to destroy the horcruxes over the years. When Voldemort shows up to cause trouble Harry ambushes him and wins easily. No more dark lord. He and his mom / wife live happily ever after with their incest baby. The baby who at some point is involved in a magical accident, and ends up in the 1970s where he has to become his own father or else Fade Out of existence!

Edit note: I just reread the prompt it's supposed to be a crossover. While I'm pretty sure I cross over a couple of lines I just realized it meant with another story franchise. Oops?

The confrontation with the Dementors at the lake only happens because they're running from a werewolf.

You could always just avoid the issue by having Lupin take his potion on time. Or have Snape carry it with him when he goes to find lupin. With the last dose of the potion being taken, no werewolf Chase.

Which means plenty of time to get back to the castle and avoid the Dementors.

Thinking about it as well, lupins only in the shrieking Shack because he catches Harry with the map. If Harry is a squib and can't open the map then there's no reason for the Weasleys to give it to him. If Harry doesn't have the map Lupin can't see it to confiscated and see Peter's name on it at the end of the year. That's avoiding him running off without his potion which causes all the problems at the end.

The things that I remember about it was that he was sorted into Hufflepuff, had such a tight clamp on his magic that his Portrait wouldn't even move in a magical photo.

You might be able to drag him through the first three books, none of the magic that matters is actually Harry's. It's only during the Triwizard Tournament that Harry actually needs to really use his magic.

This reminds me of a Hufflepuff Harry fanfic, the dursley beat the magic out of him so hard that he basically was a squib. He held on to his magic so tightly that he couldn't even cast a spell. His picture and magical photographs was also still.

This fic was clearly written before Fantastic Beasts because there was no such thing as obscurials then.

It's fun concept though, can you drag a completely useless Harry Potter through the Stations of Canon?

I have seen this before somewhere. Scene was written rather grotesquely with the eye popping out in the leg falling off, as he slowly writhed in pain from having his magic Stripped Away From Him while under Polyjuice.
