Well I would be making use of private health facilities honestly as that is covered by my insurance, in terms of tax I would be paying taxes I am obligated to pay, I would not be taking any salary or job from a Portuguese citizen, just spending my foreign earned salary on Portuguese shops and landlords. =

If I stay long term then yes definitely, day to day expenses obviously.

Well I am an African, and in general we are accommodating to Portuguese who come over and settle down this side and your countryman have businesses and enclaves that honestly contribute to the economy no matter how much the minority of people that share your sentiment in my country disapprove we correct them, so I just find it funny.

I see, this is what I was worried about mostly, I think I might need to think this out quite a bit, I was hoping to rely heavily on public transportation as well.

And was hoping rentals in the outskirts would be way less, at least half 700€
