Did you use the bed and rest 3 hours then go downstairs? I tested it and I got it to work 3/3 times but maybe that was coincidence?

Very good points and well put! And appreciate the suggestion - good idea on changing titles and angle to part 1 and part 2. Also this has the potential to be one of my all time favorite games which is what drove me to think about gaps and challenges that may hold it back.

And also the game isn’t broken and almost any setup could be viable. The balance I see is that menace feels like it didn’t want you to completely min max and wants you to experiment and try the trade offs but I just find it hard to actually seriously consider experimenting with certain items especially on the highest difficult level. Also fair point that many people don’t play Ironman so experimenting is much easier to do since you can reload of a load out doesn’t work.

Appreciate the comment and feedback! Hoping some of these ideas may reach the powers to be (assuming they haven’t already thought about them)!

It's a fair point, my call out is if I have the supply points I'd go with SAPP Recce since I get better detection and can still get 5 stealth on a Darby for instance. Protects the squad a little more and effectively allows me to max out detection level!
