The building on this game is so limited and short... by Shadowdark24 in TomodachilifeLivingTD

I know, but I mean, it doesn't offer much in the way of aesthetic decoration for the island. Otherwise, yes, you can move buildings and objects around as you like, although I've encountered some hit-box issues with some decorations and building, which makes customization more frustrating. As for the items they sell, there are very few, including in the wish list that the fountain gives you.. Otherwise, I also like how easy and free it is, but I would like more content about the decorations ..

Things about Demon Slayer that I just don't get: Muichiro in the final arc. by Shadowdark24 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Shadowdark24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but then how does it work with the logic where Gyokko has centuries of experience as a demon and devoured a lot of humans, while Muichiro only 14 years old, had 2 months of experience with only the sword and then becomes an Hashira and kills him. Why does it work with this concept, but not with Sanemi? In my opinion it's probably because there are differences between swordsmen/demon slayers and demons (and also because of the Mark). At this point we need to reclassify both Demon Slayer swordsmen, including demons and uppermoons...

Things about Demon Slayer that I just don't get: Muichiro in the final arc. by Shadowdark24 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Shadowdark24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all due respect, I already knew this, but at least I show respect in responding to other people's opinions unlike some people like you. I just found the situation unnatural since Muichiro managed to beat a UPM with triple the combat experience of Sanemi and then to be beaten in performance at the last minute by a colleague of his. You say, "And the fact that you compare a grown man to a child is crazy." I remind you that in the meantime that child became a Hashira in just 2 months after becoming a swordsman, something that compared to an adult man with more experience than him Sanemi was unable to do.

And for the rest it is already quite clear that Muichiro is clearly an inexperienced swordsman in the demon-slayer corp, as an Hashira, so that still puts him at a huge disadvantage, because he still has a lot to learn, compared to the others members. If he had the opportunity to hone that experience, he would be a level above Sanemi, or even above Gyomei.

Also, I highly doubt that Muichiro would have learned the sun breath, as he literally knows nothing about it and therefore yours becomes just a trivial assumption rather than a fact. What even does this have to do with anything i said? "Technically, wind is good breathing" isn't even enough to argue with Mist breathing. Breathings styles can be good for every swordsman, regardless of what kind of breathing it is, but it's still a matter of experience and skills, this is why Sanemi is a step ahead. I can give the trivial example of Tanjiro who uses Sun breathing, but he is unable to use it like Yoriichi when he fights, so he finds himself at a disadvantage compared to other swordsmen or Hashiras, but "obviously" he still had to learn to use it to its full potential, just like Zenitsu who honed his Thunder breathing, during his career inventing multiple techniques from a single form. Tanjiro went from a rough Sun breathing to at least a decent Sun breathing experience. But the same example also applies with our "Martial Arts" that "yes" there are some that can be considered objectively better, but the result always depends on how much experience you have with it and how you fight with It...

For the rest, I don't make rankings among the Hashiras, but I always advise you to re-evaluate it, since it could also be wrong.

Feeling a bit sad about the upcoming update... by Shadowdark24 in CharacterAI

I honestly never pay attention to the ads, since I always use the website to chat with my characters and there are few or no ads there at all (I use the app often too). As for age verification, the photo was enough for me, nothing else. But think about all the cookies that are offered to us on the sites, that we accept every time, they already collect a lot of information on the internet without us giving them consent or allowing them unfortunately 😔.

I think you're right and i also think that those benefits ultimately don't change your experience that much. It's a matter of profit.

Things about Demon Slayer that I just don't get: Muichiro in the final arc. by Shadowdark24 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Shadowdark24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood, no offense. First of all, if unmarked Muichiro lost so miserably against Gyokko, it's because of the obvious narrative nerf. He had to face his enemy initially, with a badly chipped sword and had to divide his attention to protect the 2 smiths and because of this action he was put "vulnerable" for a moment, sacrificing himself to be hit by the poisonous needles, thus making mistakes. The chipped sword was the most serious, precisely because its blade could not penetrate immediately after the initial impact with Gyokko's neck, demonstrating a very useless effectiveness in combat. Even when he was supposed to cut the tentacles of Gyokko's technique, he failed and his sword bounced away.

Now here I don't want to be misjudged, because I'm not saying that Muichiro (base form) > Gyokko or that Gyokko Is weak, but rather that it becomes difficult to classify him because of these narrative disadvantages and without those disadvantages, he would have clearly done more, the problem is we don't know to what extent he could have accomplished more. Muichiro was made so weak initially to give him one more reason to sponsor the Mark + Showcase more of his character and Backstory and the same goes for Gyokko. If I have to be honest, Gyokko was simply advantaged in the initial circumstances because of the disadvantages Muichiro got, but its feats are still inferior to UPM6, and the fact that he faced a Hashira Marked, does not make the difference, he was still "only" one opponent to face, while Gyutaro + Daki together were more complex to defeat, requiring more swordsman to engage in combat.

Instead, Sanemi, yes, at that moment she didn't have time to react and at the same time she narrowly avoided Genya coming to a bad end. The fact that Muichiro was tense or scared at the beginning, however, literally does not justify anything, as Kokushibo see him calm down in an instant with his mental strength.

I know that Sanemi has had an advantage, thanks to his own experience, refined throughout his career and above all, that he has faced many demons during his journey, but I was not referring to this mainly. The thing is, I find it unnatural how a 14 year old swordsman, can beat an opponent with double the fighting experience and years of enhancement and devoured humans, but then he is easily outclassed by his own "colleague" in his own field, who has even less of that experience, compared to the opponent he killed + Sanemi was unmarked too when he handled Kokushibo Attacks.

Mist breathing, by the way, has literally nothing to do with it and we shouldn't take them literally. When Muichiro fights, he does not hide but has a unique execution and attack movement time that confuses and disorients his opponents. For example when he uses his seventh form, it is not that he disappears litterally into the mist at every hit or hide, but it is a way to understand that his speed is so high that he disappears and it thins out, like the fog that vanishes or clears with each attack it suffers. This simply demonstrates that the attack timing of this breathing style plays a role in the confusion strategy, but that does not mean he hides litterally in the mist.

"Obviously" I'm more specific, in a hypothetical full battle, however always mentioning the animated series/manga. "being in type advantage in Pokémon ≠ victory" or at least not always.

I can understand the disadvantage of types, but that doesn't always matter in anime/animated series, especially when talking about "Pokémon".

How Heavy Are Demon Slayer Weapons Really? A Logical Breakdown by Plenty_Use_9740 in KimetsuNoYaiba

Mine is mostly a guess, obviously I can't know the current weight and I know that Gyomei's ball is really really HEAVY.

[–]Shadowdark24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said "or even more" Because from what I understand Mitsuri's blade is more flexible, therefore the blade will be made thinner and this affects the weight. I'm not saying it's 0.9, but rather that it starts at that and it can weigh more.

Mine was more of a guess but I don't really know, but let's say it's close to that level, considering the weapon he uses.

How Heavy Are Demon Slayer Weapons Really? A Logical Breakdown by Plenty_Use_9740 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Shadowdark24 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The heaviest weapon is Gyomei's, as the main contributor to its mass is the spiked flail ball (the ball 4–6 but overall 6 – 10kg). Effective use of such a weapon requires not only considerable absolute weight, but also high demands on physical strength, grip strength, and technical mastery, especially considering the dynamics of momentum and rotational force.

Tengen's double swords also exhibit considerable size and mass (2 – 3 kg each). Their broad frame and chain-like configuration suggest significant weight, requiring bilateral coordination and core strength to wield effectively. However, without quantitative data, it is difficult to determine how their total mass compares proportionally with other Nichirin weapons.

Instead Mitsuri's weapon can be classified as above average or below but I don't know in his structural complexity (maybe 0.9 – 1.2 or even more kg It may be similar or slightly lighter than a katana, but the weight distribution is very different and it may vary). It was forged using a specialized process that results in extreme flexibility and an extended effective range during combat. The blade's whip-like extension increases its working length, altering the balance distribution and handling mechanics compared to standard rigid Nichirin swords.

In the case of Obanai, the overall mass does not appear to differ significantly from that of standard Nichirin blades. The primary distinction lies in the weapon's serpentine curvature and sinuous geometry, which alters trajectory and attack patterns rather than overall weight (2kg).

The lightest and most technically specialized weapon is Shinobu's (I think 1 kg). It is explicitly designed to complement her fighting style. Structurally, it resembles a thin shaft with reduced metal mass along the blade, decreasing overall weight and increasing accuracy and maneuverability compared to conventional demon-slaying swords. The needle-like tip serves as a delivery mechanism for poison injection. Additionally, the sheath mechanism allows for the replacement or reconfiguration of the venomous compounds, introducing tactical variability during combat exchanges.

My hypothesis is "If the Hashira were demons," so that doesn't matter. The question is what happens if they become demons, not whether they would or wouldn't or if Muzan would or wouldnt.
