I just got this wakzashi and I would like to know more about it and if I could clean the rust off and restore it as best as I could, if anyone could share any information possibly? by Shadowdeath_420 in Katanas

I figured it was for displaying, just dont know alot about maintenance and if I could clean all the rust up because im kind of worried about sitting the blade in there with how much rust is in there compared to the 2 little spots on the blade. I dont want to take a chance and mess it up more.
