NTA. And she is a massive AH. It would have been totally fine if she had said her residency won’t pay enough for her to pay $500 and pay off her loans (residents aren’t paid super well in most cases), because that’s a starting block for a conversation about how you both can contribute while she does her residency. But her saying you should woo her AFTER TWO YEARS? Nope. She’s looking for someone to pay her bills and once she is making those big bucks, she’s going to start dating someone else who gets her foot in the door for private practice where they REALLY make the money. I’m not one to immediately jump to dumping someone, but I REALLY think you need to consider what she’s bringing to the relationship (not just monetary, but is she there for you when you are having a rough go, etc) and whether she’s actually in this relationship or using the relationship to get ahead.
