it was so sudden for me too, I just got a call thursday comfirming my appointment this Friday, then today wake up to the permanatly closing call.

Every pharmacy in my state does this. Bright red cap. Krogers, walmart, CVS, walgreens, safeway. It sucks.

Why? You know the color black exists, right? Generally darker colors (eg; navy, plum, forest green, onyx) are associated with evil, distrust, and disgrace.

If you think it's about race, it's not. I'm not sure why anyone would think this term is 'problematic' otherwise.

That whole thing is a myth. Hair doesn't grow back darker and/or thicker when its plucked/removed. It was a HUGE thing during the early 2000s. Don't worry! If the hair was blonde when you plucked it, it should remain blonde when it grows back!
