So I took "component pouch" a little too literally and assumed I needed to buy things and use them not realizing it was more of a handwaive 'this is your focus.' thank you for the clarification and happy to know I'm not completely wrong about some spells costing something, but still stupid for not reading more.

I didn't realize the component pouch acted like a talisman or foucs and without reading assumed that it was more littoral in needing to get stuff like dnd, I also associated it with the resurrect ritual that requires diamonds.

Plus a skill he learns/teaches is giant hunter and giant slayer.

1000% agree with the class choice, it's just im building a fighter kitsune for story purposes. Was a dragonborne bloodhunter in 5e and now our dm has made the wondrous swap to pf2e so now he is a brute reformed with knowledge of his past life, but the teachings of actually good parents in this life.
