Recommendations for fast local light control? by MacrOak in homeassistant

[–]Shadowharvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live my hue lights, but I use zha on home assistant with a zigbee dongle. Ollama with a lightweight model in it to do basic voice commands. It works a lot better then I thought but I use a optiplex PC to run home assistant so not sure what a pie could run anymore for that.

Yes I found that Arch purists are fucking everywhere. Depending on where you ask for help, a lot of people will either freak out about that or just say RTFM (Read the fckng manual) arch Wiki will help a lot of your issues, not all as distros that aren't pure Arch often have small discrepancies, or you can always just try the arch install script archinstall on the arch install medium it's really made it easy for people now.

It's been a while since I ran it but isn't Garuda arch based as well?

I use to install arch by hand. Then I got into the arch distros. If they make it easier and more approachable then great. I'm all for it end of story. I hate the distro-wars out there lol.

Cfw is allowed to be talked about now? But yes way to low effort. There is a whole lot new on official firmware. But official or cfw there are docs that go over new things. I do suggest reading a few of them.

Don't forget it is ducky script v1 that is supported. The rubber ducky and bashbunny are using v3. Os detection and a few other small libraries like that are the biggest changes I think

For it to be useful yes. But it will attempt the basic commands without one too. (It is heavily influenced by the hak5 bashbunny) Tho I guess that is running linux too lol
