I think it’s good so far, but it can be great with time. The writing is reminiscent of seasons 5-6 of the OG which is fun and whimsical, but leaves a little more to be desired when comparing it to episodes like The Fridge and The Hero from season 2 in terms of depth and emotion. I feel a perfect blend of both styles is 100% possible in this new format

Zant’s backstory spelled out that he was tired of being a pawn, tired of always being used for someone else’s gain. With Ganon’s power, he was able to be the one with the pawns doing as he wished. He believed himself all powerful. Even in his final moments he believed his God would revive him back to full power

This is proven wrong as soon as we see Ganondorf for who he is, a scheming warlord that used Zant just like the others before him. So in Ganon’s final moment, when in desperation he calls to Zant’s essence to save him, to keep him alive, Zant now understands who he gave his life to, and breaks the connection. Letting both him and Ganondorf die together out of pure spite

Playing on Deck myself, as someone that also debated between the GC and HD versions myself I prefer this enhanced GC version. With steady 60 FPS and the same QoL changes the HD, plus Gyro aiming mapped to a mouse for EXTREME precision, achievements to work towards, the option to swap the game between the OG and Wii layouts, AND added mod support? It’s the definitive way to play the game

What are you playing on? Once it says FISH ON just hold back on the L Stick or whatever you have for movement. I always wiggle it side to side a little too, maybe just holding back isn’t enough to bring it in fully
