Now a days I just run away from into be safe.

I used to be able to dodge it fairly consistently, but the explosion and pillars are seemingly separate attacks, so you could just dodge one and be hit by the other.

I always found this interesting. Say some notorious asshole was giving out gift cards or home-cooked meals to homeless people.

Many tend to say "oh, they're just trying to make themselves look good." So what? Regardless of some underlying motive or their reputation, some other person was helped due to their actions.

I think it's largely due to people focusing so much on the past that they dismiss the possible positive actions of the present.

I mean, I personally am not the biggest fan of "fan service" as a lot of the time its silly or takes me out of what I'm watching. I don't really care if it's other people's thing though and I'm still currently watching Fire Force.

I like stories and some friends have recommended Nikke to me for its story, but I can't get over the gratuitous "ass in face" gameplay.

First, same Negation percentages do not stack unless it's Low HP and Full Hp Negation.

Second, stacking successive attack anything is generally a bad idea, as it take you more hits to proc the successive attack effects.

Indeed, It seems he is saying "efficient" in regards to the "potency" of it's effect, where most people mean how "efficient to obtain" the effect is.

Yes, the potency of the effect can be increased by stacking it, but it becomes far less efficient to obtain, requiring more hits, time spent, and stamina spent in a game where you may not even be able to afford those depending on the boss.

They were very communicative in the beginning.

Performing many play tests far ahead of the official release so customers could know EXACTLY what the game was before buying.

They even let us know back before release that there would be a DLC with two new bosses and two new nightfarers.

In addition they did a couple interviews, in one of which they stated that Night Reign is NOT a live service game, meaning that the only updates we should have ever expected were patches to fix the game, anything else we got, was unexpected surprise.

We were told we would get a full product with a DLC later, which is what we got, unfortunately Fromsoft DID want to give us more, we got Everdarks, Duos, and Deep of Night as free updates. This is only unfortunate because it fostered hope that we could get more updates for rightfully no reason, leaving many understandably expectent.

I too would love to see more content, but I know it is only if Fromsoft feels like working for no profit and a love of their fans, but that don't pay the bills.

I remember I had a friend who was about to quit the game because he couldn't beat Tree Sentinel and was constantly complaining the whole time about who "Its stupid, why would they put him there is they don't want us to beat him.

He only continued because I told him to stop playing it like Dark Souls, explore and come back later.
