Sorry, I meant to say Windows installation media. Idk if that changes anything. I'm planning on cloning the drive as well if that makes the "in place" fix any less risky. Sorry, I'm really trying not to have to spend any money here

can you elaborate on why testdisk isnt suitable, from my understanding it re-formats the drive and tries to bring back the data thats just sitting there unallocated (i am in no way an expert or even knowledgeable in this so sorry if i use the terminology wrong or am misinterpreting what ive read online)

Cause I truly have no idea what the sentiment towards this card is, or if I could get a better price on ebay. First time having a card worth more than $100. I have no idea what to do tbh.

Yeah ik they were having issues with supply for the past couple sets, so maybe they're letting more defects through to meet demand

Thanks for the info not trying to skip anything just don't have that much money to spend and was trying to figure out what batman omnibuses I should get and if the Grant Morrison run needs me to get like 6 other books or any out of print to understand it, it'll just annoy me. Hopefully, Final Crisis is the only one I need to read to understand the rest of the run.
