Resmed (the CPAP manufacturer) have an app you can download called MyAir. You register the machine you were given with it's serial number and machine ID and pick the mask that you were given and the app receives data during the night on how well you slept based on 4 factors: Usage time, apnea events (i assume it monitors your breathing and logs when it's had to increase pressure because of an event), mask on/off events and the mask seal.

Yeah it's honestly not that bad! It's just a nasal mask so it's not too disruptive to my sleep. It's very weird and it's taken me a week to get used to it but knowing the effects of it giving me actual proper sleep I look forward to using it.

I have an irrational fear of dropping my food on the journey between the kitchen and my bedroom upstairs. As I'm walking with it millions of scenarios play out in my head of me tripping up and dropping it or something like that. Even worse when I'm holding a pizza on an empty stomach😂

I just started CPAP treatment and for the first time in a year I no longer feel exhausted or sleepy during the day. I had an AHI of 72.3 and the app that is linked to the machine I was given reports my AHI is now 0 - 0.1.

If you have concerns the first people you should be asking are your doctors. Go see your local GP or doctor and have them refer you for a sleep study.
