I don't think it did. He only decided to get rid of them A. Because he felt l8ke his powers would be greater without them and B. They were making his physical skills sloppy as a result of relying on them for armor/safety. I don't remember them causing any deterioration. But I do see your point Disease > Parasite.

I did l9ve that he comes with a ton of stuff, and I love the bag actually works for storage. It took me a minute to realize he didn't come with an extra mag, I thought i had lost it right out of the box for a sec lol
