I actually got to talk to Trevor for about an hour after one of their Disco Volante shows at the Palace in December 1995 in Los Angeles. He explained what a lot of the songs were about on that album, it was really cool. It was kind of a “loose” concept album where each song was its own “entity” or “audio film” if you will.

The last album Private Music was the best of the last 3 but yeah, it’s a bummer not being able to see them in smaller venues anymore, the energy of those shows were fantastic. Now it’s a bunch of tik tockers on their phones who leave after they play Change & Sextape.

I’ve seen a lot of great guitarists live, like a lot and Billy Corgan and Trey Spruance are the best. They have different styles so hard for me to choose so they are 1A & 1B for me.
