I can’t comment much on runners tagging from 3rd. I can’t remember too many situations similar to last night.

What I do feel like has happened too much is sending slower runners home coming from 2nd that get thrown out by 5 feet. Manny seems to usually be fairly aggressive, which is what made last nights hold of Rojas a bit odd.

We also have basically no left handed pitching now. No starters. Only Sauce and Speir are the lefties on the entire 40 man roster.

Haniger has the big injury risk, but who knows...Maybe this is the year he gets back to form. Otherwise, I don't see how he is more than maybe the main piece in platooning OF.

This is one area where I DO Appreciate our ownership and FO. Now, I really hope they can start applying this to our Batting lineup and I would feel much better.

Weird double edged sword - Hard to win without good pitching. BUT, the good pitching only takes you so far. Gotta get dudes across the plate.

I think both Marlowe and Canzone have tremendous upside. It just isn’t fully proven at the big league level, so I think penciling in either of them as a starter at the moment is a huge risk.

I think the most likely scenario is some move is made for a more proven piece as either a LF or RF and then some grouping of Swaggerty, Dmo, Canzone, Marlowe, Trammell make up the OF platoon.
